Trackball Hog

I bought this new trackball for the kittens, right?  I thought it would be great for them because it's smaller, lighter, and easier for their tiny paws to play with.  They do play with it a little, but only on that rare moment when it's not being used by Wylla, the trackball hog.

And because Wylla is kind of obsessed with the toy, she's getting pretty dang good at it, and she's developed some new tricks and moves.

See for yourself...

  1. Silly Wylla is silly! She is quite skilled in track ball. She wears herself out with that toy, doesn't she? Maybe the Clovers just need to wait until Wylla has a nap attack....

  6. You've created a trackball monster. A very adorable trackball monster who has it going on with the tricks and twists.

  7. Hey, not that long ago Wylla was your kitten! Why shouldn't she get to play????

  8. She's definitely got some moves. Look at her slow-blinking it. Oh, I love you trackball! I wish LG liked to play with his. He scratches the round pad inside the track, and he rubs against a feather-stick insert that rises from the middle of the pad, but he's not really interested in the ball. He will chase a loose ping-pong ball, though.

  11. Yay, Wylla! Sometimes you gently tap the ball with your paw to keep it moving, and sometimes you move your whole body to give it a "thwap"! I agree completely with Peggy- is there ever a time when you are not photogenic, I think not! xo xo

p.s., Hugs and snuggles for Charlene Butterbean too! xo xo

  13. Maybe the Clovers would prefer "ping bong ball in the bathtub" time?

  16. Wylla -- Thanks to you, a floofy tabby 8lb girl in Austin just got the exact same green trackball that you and the Clovers have. Beatrice will see you at trackball finals at the Cat Olympics!
