Would You Mind?

Excuse me? My springy toy has rolled out of my paw's reach. Would you mind handing it to me?

Oh dear, it's happened again. Would you mind? I would prefer not to get out of this box.

Thank you.

OH NO.  Silly spring. Could you go get it and put it right here between my paws.

No, no. closer. Thank you.

OOPS.  Hee hee. It happened again.

If it's not too much of an imposition....

  2. Two thoughts:
one: Of COURSE she doesn't want to leave that box. It's a very nice box.

two: She also knows that you'll do more for her when you're holding a camera...

  4. Oh, I think she was trying to entertain the human by playing toss the toy! She knew what she was doing!

  9. I will take precious Wylla, in her box, with her springy toy and her person to give it back to her if it rolls out of the box. For the WIN! xoxoxoxoxo Wylla and xoxoxoxo Charlene Butterbean too

  10. LOL! LG likes to do that with a catnip mouse, while perched on the top level of his cat tower. Kinda reminds me of a kid knocking stuff off a high chair tray.

Also, look at those mittens of hers!

  11. I'm so sneaky. Mom doesn't even realize I've gotten her to play with me.

  12. One of my sister's two Abys loves those silly spring toys. Last time I was visiting, we dug 17 of them out from under the fridge. :)

  13. Hilarious -- I laughed three times, not least at Wylla's "I'm so very exhausted" yawn.

  14. Ah a story we know too well! Sophie's springy toy is currently under the couch - and she's pining. Before that it was under the treadmill. And before that... **sigh** Silly springy toy, silly kittens. Well-trained humans! ;-)

  15. Perhaps you could attach the toy to Wylla's paw with a teensy bungee cord... The self-fetching toy!
