Peeps and Speed

Here's your little dose of Lumpkins this morning!  The Lumpkin making all those peeps and meeps in the first part of the video is Wilma. She's the loud one in this batch.  Though the others seem completely happy here, her needs are somehow not being met, and she's letting me know.

In the second part, wee Stewart is the speedy side-winder, and Frieda is the one who's not in the mood for his squirrelly behavior. He's the rowdiest in this set, and keeps his sisters on their toes.  Pesky little brother.

I've got something exciting to share with you today, and I'll be back in a little bit with an announcement. Please stay tuned!

  1. What do you want, Wilma? Would you like to be held? Are you cold? What a treat? Curious about the other two cats? You'll meet them soon.

  5. They are so cute! Stewart has no idea that he's not actually related to the girls; he's already learned how to be the annoying (but adorable) brother.

  6. I had to turn the sound off cause I'm at work - but the visual is fun - her looking up at the camera and it looks like she is saying "Hey!!"

Don't know if Anne Boleyn already shared this with you, but I think you pre-determined Wilma's talkative nature with that name. Our Siamese kitty, Wilma, mostly just made a meow that sounded like "no" for all of her many years on this earth.

  12. Wilma's tiny "mew!" tears at my heart and I want to scoop her up and hold her close. I have no doubt she gets lots and lots and lots of love and cuddles and kisses, and she's exhibiting Spoiled Kitten Syndrome (which is something all kittens should exhibit, IMHO), but it still tears at my heart because a kitten "mew" is pitched just right to turn you into a weak-willed kitty slave in 0.000001 seconds flat.

Need to work a bit on keeping your back end under you at high speeds, Stewart. Might want to slow it down a bit until you have better control over whole vehicle control. Just a suggestion. ;D
