Finally!  Our little Von Tussles ALL sat still for a family portrait.

Thank you, kittens!

And because the "bad" ones are sometimes even better than the "good" ones, here they are.

  1. You're right. The outtakes are funnier than the official portrait.

The second from bottom cracks me up. One of the kittens (third from left) looks like s/he's smiling and the one on the far end (right) is bored.

  2. I Love it especially the last 2 pics!!

  3. Honestly, I'm always amazed at your group shots, "good" and "bad". You are beyond a Kitten Whisperer. You just might be the only person in the world who actually CAN herd cats.

  4. Picture #5, 2nd kit from the left (whichever one that is..) has the perfect cheesy grin for a school picture. :) Picture #6 is the overkill grin for the school picture. Hehehehe..

  5. OMGosh! Malcolm smiling in #5! I don't think I've ever seen a cat smile like that in an actual, real, non-faked photo. Absolutely priceless. I love it!
You're such a great photographer Laurie. It's a gift to all of us every day to get to wake up and see your awesome pictures of your adorable charges.

  7. I agree with everyone else ... The good pics are sweet, the 'bad' pics are priceless, especially the last two.

  8. lol at Malcolm in the last two pics. What a little goofball. There's one in every class. :-)

  9. Well worth the wait! The Von Tussels are just adorable together and separately. The second to last picture is too cute, love the goofy little grin on Malcolm's face :)

  10. Pic 5 - Malcolm anticipates his glorious solo.
Pic 6- Malcolm hits his famous high b flat.
    Well done, Malcolm.

  11. Claudette looks flawless in every picture, and Midge too.

But my favorite is Cosette, doing her best making faces for the camera. Sadly nobody seems to appreciate her effort. XD

    1. Good point about Cosette. I missed that on first viewing.

  12. Delightful! You have the touch and even your selection of 'outtakes' are fantastic.

  13. When they're good, they're very very good, and when they're bad they're better! Personally, I think the outtakes are photographically more interesting. They capture purrsonalities far better.

And of course, they're all cute no matter how you slice it.

  14. Love Malcolm in the last 2 frames. Bet he was "talking" at you Maine Coon Style - loud and slightly off key.

  15. The last two nearly killed me!

  16. Thank you for sharing your joyful (and occasionally sad) kittens and stories! I look forward to them every day.

  18. I'm in awe that you EVER get a good group shot, let alone several great shots of every single litter. How on Earth do you get them all to sit still at the same time?! The Kitten Whisperer bequeathed much of his talent to you, I think...

  19. LOL! Love #4 & #5!!! They need to be frig magnets or note cards.

  20. Claudette seems to be the only one with composure --
her little right foot in model pose.

  21. Oops...I meant #5 & #6 are the cutest. Silly kittens. They look very bright-eyed and healthy. Great job nursing them through the first days.

  22. Oh, wow, Malcom is hysterical, but who is it in the far right? Cosette, maybe? I love the last one, where she looks like she's crossing her eyes and sticking out her tongue! :)

  23. Malcom's smile needs to be on a button, or a coaster, or every product at CafePress.

  25. Yes - the 'outtakes' are wonderful. Is that Langston, second from right? I love the long-suffering look he is giving to Malcolm in the final frame!

  26. Oh, heavens. Like everyone else, the last two had me rolling.

  27. I can see how Malcolm charmed your luncheon guests, or should I say entertained them, maybe a standup comic? And Miss Cosette with her tongue...call her Miley instead. No, I think Cosette's tongue is WAY cuter!

  28. The only thing better than a picture of one kitten is a picture of six kittens :D

Is Langston that much bigger than everyone else, or is it just the photo?

    ReplyDelete
  29. I am such a sucker for the bad boys. Langston and Malcolm should come home with me right now!

  30. TINEE TABBEEES!

I love the silly faces in the second-to-last pic!

  31. No matter how rotten I feel, no matter what problems I have, they always go away while I visit the IBKC. God bless you (and the kittens, of course) for making me laugh today.

  32. Goodness!!! The second to left kitty on the second to last pic....get a close up and get it viral. It is ridiculously cute. I have never seen a more photogenic cat in my life!!!

  33. Last pic: someone is rellay having fun there !

  34. I think you have your "The Many Moods of Cosett von Tussle" post right here, with just a little cropping. These are adorbs. Teeny little Claudette! The smallest one is always a firecracker, isn't she?

  35. O M Goodness, I love, love, love that big face Langston......and all the babies.....just too cute. gloria Hemingway, SC

  36. Totally hilarious! Malcolm and Langston on #5 are too funny for worlds and Claudette doesn't even look like a real cat! Brilliant... and offering so much potential for captions again. I adore this bunch, Jo x

  37. OMG LOL The last 2 pictures are terrific!!!

  38. Looks like Malcolm just found out that he got the pony he asked for! Jo x PS I've linked to this post from my blog.
