Cossette - you really, really need to meet Wylla to talk "tortie" stuff! And how to keep one's meals off one's ruff. Glad to meet you? Got any more siblings????
Oh my! The last kitten to stir my heart this much was young Miss Wylla Stout! What a beauty (I'm a sucker for long haired torties of all colourations). If only I lived near you..
Oh. My. Gosh. Those are some seriously fluffy kittens. Love the surname as well. Good thing I'm not in charge of names. I'd have come up with something like "Dusty McBunny" for this one.
Laurie, did you hear my gasp all the way across the country when I saw Ms. Von Tussle's picture? That baby is an artistic masterpiece! And her brother, so handsome. Will be looking forward to some wonderful pictures of these two (and their siblings, should there be more)!
EEP! Just when I'd recovered from Mr. Von Tussle's cuteness, I saw Miss Von Tussle and was slain ded of Teh Kute all over again. I'm suing you for double homicide due to negligent display of too much Kute, Laurie! Tell your lawyer to expect to hear from mine! ;D Cosette is SO adorably rumpled! I want to scoop her up and wash her mussed little face and smooth her fur and love her up soso much (her brother, of course, is more than welcome to join us. There's always room for another kitten). SO. CUTE!
Maybe it's just me, but Miss Cosette reminds me so much of wee Bernadette Mayfield in these pics. Perhaps it's the floof extending the size of her ears, or the determined stance she seems to have taken in these pics...whatever it is, she just reminds me of Bernadette and will hopefully carry on a long, happy and fun life in honour of that little brave bear.
OMG - you pegged that one on the nose. I want to hug, squeeze, kiss it all over!
ReplyDeleteYou got something on your face, pretty baby? Or is that her coloring?
ReplyDeleteMostly it's her coloring - she's a dilute tortie, so there some peachiness to her. There are a couple of breakfast bits too, but mostly it's her.
Delete*Thunk* And dead.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh the pair of them are delightful.
ReplyDeleteLucky us: we got to meet two kittens today!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of fluff! Not Wylla-level fluff, but few kittens can sport that level of fluff.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad we weren't going to have to wait until Monday to find out if there were any floofy siblings! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I had been whimpering and worrying that there might not be another, I should have known at least one more was in the wings.
DeleteOh my dear sweet Lord! <3
ReplyDeleteA long-haired dilute tortoiseshell. It's a case of genetics run wild!
ReplyDeleteSQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's one tough kitten. She's awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteARGH!!!!! 2 newbies in one day, you are killin' us with the cuteness! The Von Tussles will be a darling litter for sure! Love their names too!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a fluffy little kitten and what an expression. She made me smile.
ReplyDeleteLook at those ear tufts! Love it!
ReplyDeleteJust when you think it couldn't get any better- voila! A fluffy bundle of cute fuzz. Bonjour, Cosette! Time to kiss the computer screen.
ReplyDeleteDid you get the von Tussle from Hairspray? Because that might come in handy with this crew!

ReplyDeleteLOLOL "Dusty McBunny"!!!
DeleteOoh, squeee, the floof is strong with this one! I bet she's wonderful to cuddle.
ReplyDeleteOh my what a sweet little ruffled cutie!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, oh my gosh! Look at that face! Look at that fur pattern! Look at that cutie!!!! Too adorable!
ReplyDeleteIn the first picture she looks like she has a Van Dyke. I wanted to call her Mephistopheles.
ReplyDeleteWow - My day has been made twice. I love these two!

ReplyDeleteButterbean, clean up on kitten #3.
ReplyDelete(yes, I know we have to wait 2 weeks but the joke won't be funny then)
Again, like a floofy kitten cloud... I fear that if I sneezed, she would float gently away...
ReplyDeleteOh My...
ReplyDeleteThe Von Tussles must be related to the Swifts. The resemblance between these two and Hazel is remarkable.
ReplyDeleteThere's one little orphan who's found her "Castle on a Cloud" with you guys!
ReplyDeleteOh my word cute cute cute!!!!!! Its the ears!!!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh !!! really !!!! Cosette !!!! she, and you, surely made my day :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteMy sweetheart looked at her pic and said, "That looks like Mogwai!".
ReplyDeleteI'd say, "Don't feed her after midnight," but that's kind of rough since it's always midnight (like happy hour) somewhere. -darin

ReplyDeleteI'm shamelessly waiting for the eventual "hair by Charlene" photo of Cosette. I bet Bean will love bathing this bunch!
