Nearly Naked Kitty Belly!

A few days ago, the girls paid a visit to the Northwest Spay and Neuter Center to have their itty-bitty bits removed.  They came home a little groggy, napped most of the evening,  and by the end of the night it was like the day's events had never happened.  They do bounce back quickly!

All the Kibblesmiths are healing nicely,  and their once-naked bellies are starting to fill back in with fur.

You'll be happy to know that dear Delphine and sister Maeve met their daddy last night!  They'll be with a us few more days while he prepares for their arrival.  Sweet Evie has left the nest and we'll share all of their departure tales next week.

So, we just have a little bit time left with these fabulous girls.  I will savor these moments with this very special set.

  3. I'm so glad the girls got a forever home together!
On bare bellies - my big fella is very short haired and in the hot summer months he gets very sparse on his abdomen. With his recent migration we went from hot summer to cold winter and I swear I could hear his belly fluff growing

  4. Guys think they can attract a girl if they have a dog- they should try having a kitten! Every time I read of the little kitties leaving your nest, I am sad to see them go. But then we get to read the story of where they went AND every year, you give people a chance to let us see them as grown cats. I hope their new owners keep in touch!
