The Brothers Need a Home!

Effie and Hazel's brother Mack has found his family, but Zack and Jack are still looking for their perfect home.   I've had the pleasure of spending time with both of these fellows, and they are just as sweet as their sisters. Whoever snatches us this pair is lucky, lucky, lucky!

These boys are quite close, so foster mom Sue is insisting they stay together.  They are happy and  active little gentlemen.  They're so very dear and incredibly handsome.  Brother Mack gets along famously with his two collie roommates and Sue expects these two would do just fine with dogs, too.

Are you in the Seattle/Tacoma area and in market for an adorable pair such as these?  Or do you know some really awesome folks who might be?   If so, please shoot an email to Sue and let her know.

Thanks for sharing these adorable pics of your boys, Sue.

OK, Universe. Please work your magic and send some good people in Zack and Jack's direction!

  1. Good luck little ones! Are they all white? I heard that all white cats can have hearing issues. Do you think that might work against them?

I think it's really great of you to help put the word out to help them.

    1. No, they are flame points. And no, they don't having hearing issues and if they did, I can't imagine why that would work against them.

    2. We had a kitty named Scruffy who we think was at least partially deaf. His surprise when he found us speaking to him was quite endearing, and we loved the ever loving bajeesus out of him.

    3. I couldn't tell their breed from their pictures. Some people wouldn't want a kitten with hearing issues (insert joke about how cats don't come when you call anyway). I wouldn't mind if one of my cats was a little hard of hearing since she jumps at any loud sudden noise. (I love her to pieces but she should know the doorbell means people coming inside to pet her and not something bad.)

    4. Jason - I feel that by suggesting that someone might consider a hearing impaired kitten less desirable, even when done in a light or joking manner, perpetuates the myth that special needs animals are lesser creatures. They are not, in fact, it's quite the opposite. I'm not suggesting that you think they are, I would just like to request that in the future, everyone refrains from making such comments. Thanks.

  7. They are adorable! With such sweet faces I can't imagine them not being adopted soon. I'm on the other side of the state and our kitten tsunami has hit. I'm fostering two darling 4 wk old calico babies with URI.

  9. They are so unutterably precious! I only wish (a) I lived in the area and (b) Emily would allow it -- as Queen of the House, nothing enters without her permission, naturally -- and they'd be all mine. I adore kitties with points! (Of course, I also just adore kitties in all their permutations.)

  11. I’m having a Zack and Jack attack!! How freaking adorable are these two?! Living in California lets me out, but I can tell you that our boy Keith resembles these two (and Mack as well) and he’s an absolute delight.

Anyone who’s considering adopting this precious pair shouldn’t hesitate one bit.

  12. I have loved those boys since the second I saw them- they are going to be gorgeous grown ups, too. I think whoever gets them will love them to pieces- and having two kitties who are all ready bonded makes adjusting to a new home a piece of cake. They are such adorable boys.

  13. I wish the two cats we already have weren't such intolerant, grumpy, old men. They barely get along with each other as it is. I would love to take in a pair of kittens as adorable as Zack and Jack or Hazel and Effie. I guess I just have to settle for being jealous of the lucky folks who do snap them up!
