  4. They are gorgeous! Hazel's perpetually worried face makes me melt. How are their brothers doing?

    1. You can see it on her chest, too. I think how torties came into being is when God was making the world, a cat decided the best place to play with its toy was right in the middle of where God was painting a landscape, so it pounced and jumped and rolled and bunny kicked and clawed and bit and killed and was a Really Fierce Hunter, and in the process ended up with all different colors here, there, and everywhere. God sighed, said, "Oh, cat!" in That Way everyone who lives with cats knows so well. He wanted to scold the cat for coming into his workroom, which it knew it wasn't supposed to do, but the cat was looking at him in That Way, and he found it very hard to scold any of the cats when they looked at him in That Way--that's why they did it--and the cat really did look darn good all splattered and splotched with paint like that (which the cat knew, of course). God smiled and scritched the cat behind the ears. "What should I call your gorgeous coloring, my dear?" he wondered our loud. The cat smiled enigmatically, picked up its mouse in its teeth, and wandered out of the room.

  10. Effie has the most gorgeous blue eyes. The slightly deeper blue ring around the pupil is...wow. Beauty in the blooms, beauty *nibbling* the blooms. Her true nature is revealed! ;) Hazel, at least, has conscience enough to look guilty about perpetrating crimes while being too cute for a human to stay upset with. Maybe she can teach her wayward sister some shame. XD

  14. We can say so many things about serene little Hazel and spunky little Effie (who does seem to have some tortie smatterings about her lil snout and feetz). Wee Wylla is precious and enough can't be said about her majesty, Queen Bean. But let's for a minute focus on Laurie's fab flowers! What a great showcase all the furries are for her creations. Bravo!! 👍💐🌷🌸

  16. We didn't see much of Bean with these kittens...and it was always so much fun in the past to watch her "style" all the kittens who came under her paw. Did she not take to this set?

And aren't they turning out well, .. oh, Hazel, with the wistful little face.

    1. She took to them just fine, I just didn't happen to capture too many moments of them together.
