Let me guess.

Wylla, I am bathing, and then I plan to nap for many consecutive minutes.   I know you're getting excited about that big guy with the belly who will be visiting us  soon,  but we've got DAYS before he gets here.    Now please, just leave me in peace.

And that big guy with the belly?  Nope, we're not talking about Santa!

The Kitten Whisperer will be paying us a visit very soon!   And so is Mrs Kitten Whisperer!

We are very, very excited because it's always fun when they come to town!

  1. Please tell them to bring Nigel and Mimsey or at least some updates.

  2. I would really dig it if "Kitten Whisperer" was a label. Just sayin'. :)

  3. It's your karma Charlene. Drewey junebug is looking down on you saying something like "karma is a kitten!!"

    1. No, they're staying home with their sitter.

    2. Understandable. Although they were excellent travellers as wee kittens, they probably prefer the comforts of home now.

  8. It is funny to watch Charlene deal with having a little sister after years of her being Drew's little sister. Of course, we all know Charlene and Wylla have been good this year (photographic evidence even) so I'm sure both of 'those guys with the belly' will have treats for them.

  9. Will look forward to reading the stories (and remember, girls - he knows when you've been naughty). ;-)

In other news, we put up our tree this weekend, and so far LG is okay with it in his first holiday season living here. He did bat at a (low hanging and very tempting, I must admit) gold sequined reindeer ornament earlier today, just as I was getting ready to head out the door for some errands. On the plus paw, when I returned home a few hours later, the tree was still intact. Good boy, LG.

  15. But how do we know the Kitten Whisperer isn't Santa? I mean, we've never seen both of those dudes in one place. And I know Santa likes animals because he does one day at the mall with photo shoots just for pets.

    1. Good points... Maybe the Kitten Whisperer trims his whiskers from January through November to maintain a low profile, then lets them grow out for December.

  16. I'm not the first to say it: WE are getting the best present, because Laurie's pictures of the Kitten Whisperer (whom we love) with our cherished Bean and Sidekick Wylla are the best present *I* can imagine.
