'Tis the Season

HA, HA, HA, HA!  What on earth on you wearing, Charlene?

It's my Christmas scarf. And for the record, I think I look quite smart in it, Wylla.  There's nothing funny about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mom got you one, too.  I bet she's going to take our holiday photo.

See, here she comes now.   Uh oh.  What's that in her hand?

I don't think I have enough girth to dress as Santa.   Perhaps, I would make a better elf.

  2. Ok, these just totally made my day. I had a goofy grin on my face as I was looking at them, especially Wylla in that beard. People in my office probably think I'm daffy right now :D

  3. Now that is some serious payback for the little sis that dares to laugh at pretty Bean in her scarf. What a pair you've got! :)

  4. I never say LOL- but honestly, I did LOL and then I LOL'd some more. And more. That Santa pic caught me totally by surprise.

  7. Oh my goodness, I lol'd when I saw little Wylla! (My heart sang for a bit t00) Sooo cute. Thanks for this adorable post.

  8. Little Wylla Claus is hilarious! I'm surprised she kept it on long enough for photos, too -- she must be an extra-patient kitty. Same with Charlene and her lovely winter scarf. (I'm reminded of Bob the Street Cat with his lovely scarf collection.) I shudder to think what would happen to me if I tried to put either item on Emily! :-)

  12. Oh good grief! This is just too much, Ms Wylla has a sort of "oh now what" look on her face, I can't stop giggling! Thanks so much for sharing these two.

  15. Oh, those girls! Charlene does indeed look beautiful in her scarf, and something tells me Wylla would rather get gifts from Santa than be him.

  16. These two little fluffy comedians. Too cute.

  17. Well, I've been pretty sure for some time that I want to move in and have you adopt me. This just seals the deal. Thanks for the laugh!!!

  18. I actually laughed out loud when I scrolled the picture of Wee Wylla in her beard and Santa hat. That is so funny and cute! Charlene looks quite spiffy in her scarf, too.

  19. Laughed out loud -- I might have snorted a little, because it caught me by surprise -- sitting here at my desk at work. So cute!

  21. I love these girls! Wylla is so cute in her Santa hat and Bean is splendid in her scarf.

Thanks for the extra strong dose of holiday cheer.

  23. Bean and Wylla usually make me smile, but the Wylla Claus pictures made me LOL, just like so many of your readers. They are a gorgeous pair of sisters!

  24. Ditto, I did too! Thankfully I work from home. Wylla doesn't appear to be amused.

  25. I love the second-to-last picture! Not having a caption was a good touch. I'm not sure if she has a "I'm being punished aren't I?" expression or is plotting something unspeakable. But you know what this means? You can dress her up for other holidays too!

Yes, Bean, you look very smart in your scarf. How long do you get to wear it?

    1. Second-to-last picture!!

Never seen Wylla glare so hard!

Bean's scarf is super cute. They both look adorable, even if Wylla is stewing under that beard.

  26. I laughed out loud (a loud HA!) when I saw Wylla dressed as Santa. I was expecting a scarf to match Bean's. TOO CUTE! Wylla looks almost annoyed that she's dressed as Santa!

  27. The girls are just too precious! I love the look on Wylla's face - the "why me?" look. haha.

  30. Charlene is an "old hat" at this holiday stuff, but Wylla just keeps showing such amazing poise. Such precious girls.....

  31. The look of "Somebody's getting a hairball in their stocking" from Santa Wylla really makes it. ;D

  32. HAHA! I love this! The look of utter disdain from Wylla in her first Santa photo is HILARIOUS!! I bought my Louie a hat and scarf combo the other day, but the hat is way too big!! It was even for cats. I think he was relieved it didn't fit, but it is getting adjusted tonight so I can make it fit him!

  38. ps. Does Wylla have some lunch on her chin pic # 4?

    pps. Bean's paws in pic # 2!!!

  39. Very happy to see that Lady B's Scarf has a 'safety' loop rather than actually being tied around her neck. My Gran used to make ours like that, plus it means the scarf is shorter thus less yarn needed.
As for Wylla; that beard is amazing on her; truly real fur of the Mo-Haired Goat

  40. Truly I had a much needed belly laugh! Thanks!
