  1. That is just so darn cute! Wylla looks like she's telling Charlene, "I can do this myself, sis!". But then there is another shot of her that is totally enjoying her Bean bath. Do you think Charlene misses not being able to bathe kittens, since Wylla's arrival? Or is she getting her fill with Bright Eyes? :-)

    1. That's what I am wondering, too, Laurie. Do you think that Bean sees Wylla as being one of HER kittens (not as a birth mother, but as one of her charges)?

    2. I think Bean's the dominant one in the relationship, but I don't think she's "mothering" her. It's a big sister/ little sister relationship at this point. It may have started that way, but it shifted with time.

  2. The look of tolerance on Wylla's face as Charlene grooms her is priceless. I can almost here Wylla saying, "I must be patience with my big sis." So adorable, both of them.

  3. My tortie kitten solicits grooming from her uncles, then starts grooming them, then clamps her jaws around their throats, and then things really go pear shaped.

  4. Sigh, okay Beanie, you can bath me....now stop!
Don't give me that stink eye Miss Charlene! Oh, ok...that is what sisters do. They squabble and make up.

  5. What I see is the kittylove in Wylla's eyes while she is looking at YOU, Laurie. How precious is your little kitty?

  6. my two boys do this. They start bathing each other, and I'm all: "Oh, how sweet! Well, this is going to degenerate quickly." LOL

  9. Charlene has a strong tongue. Wylla's getting pulled over a bit!

We always refer to cats bathing each other as "cleaning off a place to bite".

  10. Wylla trying to look fierce is... well... let's be honest.... she fails at it. LOL

  11. Love the stoic look on Wylla's face as Charlene gives her a going over.
