Fall is Fleeting

Nearly all of the glorious fall color on our block has fallen to the ground.  It's still gorgeous, but it does make me a wee bit sad because the naked trees lining our streets are a sign that there's a long stretch of gray and wet days to come.

We're getting out as much we can, and taking it all in.

  10. Yep, sure feels like we went from summer to winter. I hear Iowa got some snow. Where I live I went from needing the AC to needing the furnace in the space of a week.
