A Little Lamm and a Matching Donation Challenge!

Welcome to Alumni Week!!  ALL WEEK LONG we'll be celebrating the parade of IBKs that's run through our home,  and we'll be checking in with many of these sweet kitten friends of ours to see what they're up to now.

We're kicking it off with a kitten from a dearly loved litter - The Lamms.   If you're new to the blog, please pay a visit to the Lamm posts - they were a special lot.   We love all of our kittens, but I bet if I took a poll, the Lamms would top many of your all-time favorite litters list.

Please say hello to Zoubisou, formerly known as Zelda Lamm.   She's a happy girl, living the good life with her kitty sister, India Rose.  She's loved and adored by her parents, Lynn and Alex.  You should see their faces light up when they talk about their dear girl - they absolutely glow.   They're kind people and they love their kitties.

Given how darling she was in the start,

it's no surprise she's turned out to be such a gorgeous young lady.

Here's India Rose and Zoubisou in their early days.

And here's a more recent picture of the pair.

Not only are they kind,  Lynn and Alex are very generous people as well, and they wanted to offer a $1000 matching donation challenge today.

Until 6:00 PM tonight (Pacific Time) they'll be matching our donations, dollar-for-dollar,  until we meet the $1000 cap.

But wait, it gets even better!

The company Alex works for, has a matching gift donation program,  and will be matching Lynn and Alex's donation.  So in the end, if we meet their match, the $1000 we give becomes $3000 in the end!

Isn't that wonderful??!!

To get in on the match, and make a tax-deductibe donation, please visit our FUNdraising page!

And please stay tuned!  We'll be saying hello a couple more of our former fosters today!

  2. As I read the alumni stories, I always wonder where their "new names" come from - sometimes its easy, but this one stumps me... did they give any reason for this beautiful name?

  8. Look how dark her face got from babyhood to adulthood! I would never expected that looking at her baby pictures. She's beautiful though. Lordy she's just gorgeous!

  12. Zoubisou has grown up to be a truly stunningly beautiful cat -- which is not surprising, considering that she was one of the cutest litter of kittens ever. Thank you so much for the lovely photos of her with her big sister India! They obviously are having a very happy life together. Oh, how I love alumni photos!

  13. Beautiful!! If I remember correctly, Bean's face was very light too as a kitten. So fun to see them grown up. And I just saw that Mad Men episode but did not make the connection. Glad it was pointed out!

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing beautiful grown-up Zoubisou with us!!! We are delighted to see her happy self. I wish my cats would get along like she and adorable India Rose do - that last picture is so cute. And you are so generous...Zoubi's name had already shown up more than once on the donation page ;)

Thank you all for helping us make the match! Zuzu is worth a zillion to India and she has enchanted us from day one. She is happy and smart and a true companion. We always say it is because of the Ibkc making her so sweet and social. All of you touch our hearts.

  18. These kittys look almost too cute to be real. Zoobie (can I call her that?) and India are little soft fuzzy sweet ones. They make my heart burst.

Alumni week is the best :)
