Under-Cover Kitty

Wylla is a burrower.  She's kind of a cold kitten, so she's always in search of the toastiest spot. If there's not a warm body to curl up on, she'll dive under the covers and nap.

  1. I love Wylla more and more with every little fact you pass on about her... she's the sweetest.

  4. Aww! That makes her even cuter! I would snuggle with you, Miss Wylla, but I don't live close enough to you.

  5. Wylla Stout is the cutest kitten on the internet. True fact.

  6. This reminds me of last night when there were thunderstorms. I was falling asleep as my big gray boy suddenly burrowed himself under the sheets with me to hide from the crashing lighting. Even big kitties like to be covered up and protected.

  7. I have a burrower, too! Sometimes I'll look all over the house for her and eventually find her as a big lump in the middle of the bedspread! >^.^<
    Loving Miss Wylla!

    1. She sure looks like she has a "POUNCE" at the ready, doesn't she?

  9. My cat, Olivia, also loves to burrow. Whether it is under the comforter, under a fleece throw, or even in my gym bag!

  10. My Clementine is a burrower. I have a duvet cover on a feather comforter, and she'll worm her way inside, and then to the opposite corner. Last night she was 'hiding' in it with just her head inside.

  11. So sweet. Blanket photos are my favorite :)
"Natty Boh" 'asks' my dad for a cave to be made of pillows and blankets everyday for her on the sofa. Its the only way he can really get her to take a nap when he's trying to get stuff done around the house and has a little too much "help"!

    1. I meant, of course, kitty burrower. Although she borrows our hearts on a daily basis!

  14. Someone looks like she is up for a good game of "Bed Mice"! (Run your hand under the sheet and watch the antics)

  17. Wylla is just absolutely adorable! I wonder how she'll do with other cats when you can take in your next litter. She seems to have been exposed to lots of things--the vet's office, her siblings, and of course Bean. Maybe she'll become the tolerant, motherly sort, and help you raise other kittens.

  18. Love the way her pupils get larger the deeper she burrows. Sweet Wylla is simply mesmerizing.

  19. She is just too cute.
My cat, who looks a lot like yours, is always cold. I think it's the long furs.

  20. Last night
    I saw a tail disapearing
    into the duvet cover.

It's easy to worm your way in,
    Between the buttons.
    Exiting proved more problematic.

    I'm glad I was there
    to rescue the panicing girl.
    Otherwise: feathers everywhere!

  22. the bisse is a burrower too. i don't know if it's because she's cold or not.. she's also a climber. big time climber. she's been climbing trees since she was a baby bisse on the streets of safut, jordan. i think she'd be happiest waaaay up high in a little cave.
