THAT was Awesome

You all do not disappoint!  We had two days of challenges in a row, and thanks to all of you, not a single dollar (or kitty bed) was left on the table.  I know it was a huge push and we asked a lot of you in a little bit of time.  We appreciate you listening to our many pleas and stepping forward and giving so much!

Because of you, there's almost $8000 earmarked for the Foster Program.  And because of you, there are 50 hand-made kitty beds in the works for our shelter cats and kittens.

Thank you for being so caring and generous.  Your kindness is incredible, and I appreciate every single member of the community so much.

The phone lines are open,  but there's no huge push today,  just a few nudges.

We could use an easy day.  Right, Wylla?

  1. After two days of challenges I agree that Bean, Wylla and especially Laurie need to kick back and relax.

  2. How much of a donation from the IBKC to make them rename it to the Cat-athon?

  3. Congrats on the challenges' success!

Ohhhhh, look at darling Wylla! She really is becoming a baby cat, not just a baby kitten. But like all cats, she'll always be a baby darling!

  6. Who's that lovely little lady cat being a big girl out on the porch all by herself??!!!!! Such a big little girl, Wylla!

  7. Wylla is stunning in any situation, but there is something about the outside light that really flatters her coloring. And such a bright-eyed, inquisitive little darling she is.

  8. What a stunning photo. Wylla herself is gorgeous of course, and I'm really struck by the colors in that last photo. The soft greens, peaches, and mauves in the floral are so pretty, and reflect the colors on Wylla herself (her green eyes, little pink nose, the soft beiges in her fur). Even the little perch she's sitting on blends with the color scheme. A really, really nice scene that compliments her beauty.

  9. Is that sweet, ladylike little girl sitting on the step looking so precious the same little girl who was looking so silly the last two days? Wylla, you are indeed a kitty of many moods as well as many colors, aren't you?

  10. I've been coveting a poster - will the proceeds go to the total? How about the magnets?
I normally don't donate because my husband & I donate to the Humane Society where we adopted our cats, but I've been eyeballing that poster, and those magnets, so if the proceeds go towards your total then I'll order some toot suite! :) (Is that how that's spelled?!)

    1. Posters and the IBKC cross stitch pattern go toward the fundraiser, but magnets don't.

  11. Oh little Wylla! I just think you are gorgeous. it's like mother nature said "I'm going to paint a kitten with all the colors of nature and let her shine". Except blue. Heh. I love you, Wylla Stout-Butterbean -Cinotto-Miller!

  15. Love, love, love that ginger sleeve. Also love the ginger faux mohawk in the second pic. I see your motivation for that punk look of a little while ago Ms Butterbean. So fierce!
