Cozy Beds for Cats and Kittens!

Our friend Natalie, mom to Scarlett and Melly, has offered up a wonderful match for today.   It's not your usual dollar-for-dollar match - instead of matching dollars with dollars, she's matching dollars with cozy kitty beds for shelter cats!  Warm, fuzzy, fleecy, kitty beds handmade by Natalie!

How wonderful and generous!    Shelter cats love these beds - they warm their cubbies and give them a soft, comfortable place to nap.

With the help of Scarlett and Melly, Natalie stitched up a couple of beds so you can see how much kitties enjoy them.

This is Scarlett.

And this is Melly.

So how does this challenge work?  For every $20 donated today, until midnight tonight,  Natalie will make and donate one cozy fleece bed to our shelter - up to a total of 50 beds!

To get your dollars matched with wonderful kitty beds, please visit our FUNdraising page before midnight (Pacific Time) and make a tax-deductible donation!

Thanks for your generous offer, Natalie!  And thanks in advance to all who take advantage of this offer.

  4. Thank you, Natalie! I've been following your blog practically since the beginning, and this kind of generosity from you totally comes as no surprise, you have such a warm heart. And I know the shelter kitties will feel the love in every bed you make. If you wouldn't mind posting the directions on your blog, I'd love to dig out the ol' sewing machine and trying a few for myself!

  5. Thanks for letting me help with this, Laurie. It makes me happy to think of the shelter kitties having something soft and comfy to lay on while they await their forever homes. I'm excited to start sewing!

  8. Natalie, what a delightful way to help all the little, and big, kitties. I know that I am suffering from old lady brain, but I don't know how to find Natalie's blog. Help please. I did click on the place where it said to visit their blog (probably stupid, I know) but that didn't work. I need to find it because I just can't resist anyone who would name their kitties Scarlett and Melly. Thanks. And good work Laurie, I wish we were not living on my husband's VA disability payments so that I could make another, and larger donation. Some of you are so generous. Have a good day Charlene and Wylla, and don't work too hard.
