Deep, Dark Forrest

The name "Forrest" has been on my list for quite some time.  It's one of my favorite names, and I was just waiting for a special kitten to come along that the name seemed to fit.

Well, finally he arrived.

Dark in color, deep in thought, here's Forrest Petrie.

In his early scaredy-cat days, he earned the nickname "Petrified Forrest".

Thankfully, he's past all that now.    He worked through his trust issues,  was the very first of the batch to purr, and has turned out to be quite a little lover.

  3. Petrified Forrest. You are too funny Laurie! But Forrest is a perfect name for the little guy. Forrest has a good solid sound to it. And he is soooo cute!

  4. "Petrified Forrest"...*snort*

But he still looks a little uncertain...we need to see many, many, many more pictures of this gorgeous boy just to be sure he is out of his shell! ;)

  6. He is such a beautiful boy! The name fits perfectly. Could he perhaps now be more of a Mysterious Forrest, thinking deep thoughts?

  16. That's a great name! I also think a good name for an all-gray male cat would be "Kingsford" (as in the charcoal). :)

  20. Love, love, love him and his name. I, too, have an all grey scary cat, who I adore to pieces. I hope Forrest finds a family who'll bring him out of his shell, too. Adore!

    1. I saw it as "pee'-tree" as in a petri dish, but I'll take either. I can crack tons of lame jokes either way. XD
