Well done everyone! Time for a nap.
Yayyyy! Though there seem to be varying levels of excitement with the kitties (wake up Sherman!)
I can't believe it! I honestly thought I was going to have to console you with a reminder that the economy is in the toilet. Thanks for all your hard work Laurie, thank you to all those folks who donated, and a special thank you to Cynthia Suprenant who came in and saved the day. We should make her a superhero costume with cat ears. :)
Ditto "Snow." Along the way, I thought that due to the economy we simply might not be able to make it. YAAAAAAAAAY that IBKC made its goal!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooo Hoooo!
That is a ton of money you raised. And you raised FUN for all of us. Just wow!!!!!
Laurie, Craig, and Charlene all deserve tiaras (right, Craig?) and so does St. Cynthia of Catville!
Eeeeek!!! So exciting, and it's not even over yet!!!
To Laurie, Cynthia, and all in this wonderful community a resounding woohoo! Take a whole lot of space during that walk tomorrow, Laurie. All those names on the donor list are walking along in spirit. Then, kid, go home and take a well deserved break.
And not just 75 squillion, but over 78 squillion as I type this! I knew we'd get there. I hope Charles looks less worried now. Congratulations, everyone, and I want to add my thanks to Laurie, Craig, and the Bean for their hard work!
Conrats all! Maybe now cats can stop playing second fiddle to (dog-a-thon)
What a nail (claw?) - biter this year. So happy! Congrats to all, and especially the kitties!
PHEONA KNOWS!! I Love that saucer-eyed tabby girl just as I love Bibi ... Whom I wrote a limerick about but did not win, aww (congrats to the much-deserved winners). I have a 16YO tabby teeny girl so I adore them specially. Anyway, YAY for kittens, a huge YAY for Laurie and Cynthia, and what a wonderful day for us all!
I liked your Bibi limerick too! I loved Bibi Winkler and how she dominated the couch despite her teeny-tininess.You are still a winner in my eyes for having the creativity and smarts to write that poem, so be proud!
Thank you so much, Snow :)
LvV, I loved your Bibi limerick. :)
Katey Lady, thank you, and my heart burst every time I saw #9 :) But it was so nice just to be included. It's all good! /tiny tabby ladies represent
