On the IBKC FUNdraising set: Day One

This isn't easy, you know.  I've barely been here twenty-four hours and I'm taking my first shift on the set today.

There's so much to learn, and modern technology doesn't come easy to a tiny kitten.

I THINK the paper goes in there.

OK, that looks right.

But these phones...

I'm still kind of baffled by them.

I sit and stare at them, and sometimes they ring.

And I stare at them some more, and they ring again.

Is there something else I should be doing?

OH dear,  back to the training center for you, little orange guy.

For now, it might be best if we make our donations online.    Please visit our FUNdraising page to make your tax-deductible donation today!

Big donation or small, every dollar counts.  When we pool our money together, we can do fabulous things.

  2. I'm guessing the typewriter sequence pictures were set in reverse order than they were actually taken? Either way - I can't wait to meet this cutie pie! KITTENS.

  5. Wow he's pretty good with that paper! Now if only he was polydactyl so he could tackle those phones...

And off topic, I am uber-excited because I just found the last copy of your Making Paper Flowers at my local B&N, and it's on hold for me! Woot-woot! I am not really a crafter but I used to paint and draw a lot...looking forward to trying my hand at flowers!

  11. LOG (Little Orange Guy) needs a tiny headset so he can work the phones and churn out acknowledgment letters at the same time. More efficient and ergonomic.

    1. The little grey-and-white in the picture in the photo is Pearla Dearborn. I think.

    2. Kisses has similar markings, but that is Pearla Dearborn.

  14. These kittens always seem to have a problem that makes it so we can't call in. I'm not sure about them.

  16. OMG! This little fundraiser looks exactly like I'd imagine my little Frankenstein (pronounced Frawnkenschteen, of course) looked when he was an itty bitty. I am in love all over again!

  17. marvelous job on the set this year Laurie!! I am sure the kids will be in full swing of taking pledges before we know it. I'll be making mine soon. Looking forward to the daily posts and challenges!!!

  19. Squueee little orangey helper! (The first of many squees to come over the next month, I'm sure!)

Have you thought about a contest/pool to name all the former Itty Bitties on the Wall of Fame? A small donation to enter (proceeds going to the FUNdraiser, of course!) and the winner get a set of magnets or the new print?

  20. Hang in there little guy...just keeping looking at the phones sideways until it all makes sense!

  21. Every time I see the wee coffee cup I remember Betty June (now Mei) trashing the joint. And judging by her antics over the past two years...she was definitely the instigator!
