Announcing Another Name

Christiana was the high bidder in the naming rights auction for this stripey orange guy.

Her job takes her own of town so much,  it makes it nearly impossible for her to care to any living things.   She's currently experimenting with a bamboo plant, and so far that's going well.

Because she can't have a kitty of her own, she's excited to play a part in this kitty's life  by giving it it's name.

Introducing..

Sherman Gibson.

A solid name, for a solid little tank-of-a-kitten.

Thank you so much for your your generous bid, Christina!  Thank you too for giving this boy a fabulous and fitting name.

  5. Hi Sherman! Love

I'm NOT suggesting a name, but my former boss had a pair of cats named Sherman and Peabody, which I thought was genius. Of course, my formative years included way too many Bullwinkle reruns.

I was totally stumped with this one, but you've hit it spot on, Christiana. (And I love the "Sherminator" comment, too.)

  11. Such a perfect name! And if Sherman is like most of the other orange boys I've known, he's going to really grow into his name, too -- I bet he ends up a big, solid orange tank of a boy!

  12. I know a handsome tuxedo cat named Sherman who is the best feline friend of a dear friend of mine. It's an excellent name, for an excellent kitten!

  14. We have a Sherman! Aka Shermy, the Shermanator, Shermster, Shermy-sherm, and others. He's a brown tabby, pretty much the mirror image of the first IBKC Sherman. We also have an orange tabby, Stanley, who looks a bit like this guy.
