Kitten Magnets Coming SOOOOOOON!

I was SUPER excited to discover a box full of IBKC magnets on my porch yesterday.   I knew they were coming, but wasn't exactly sure when, and had kind of put it out of my mind.

I love they way they turned out!  The kittens look so cute all packaged up in pink!   IPOP did an awesome job!!

I just received samples of each set.  Soon, I'll be placing an order, and they'll be available in the IBKC shop.

Before I place my order, I will share some detail shots of all the sets.  I'd love to hear what you all think, so I can order smart, and bring in more of the designs you like the most.

Of course, I'll be ordering plenty of this glamorous girl.

IPOP magnets are sold at gift shops literally around the world, so hopefully they'll be turning up in your town too! If there are any retailers out there who might be interested in carrying them, please let me know and I'll connect you!

  1. OoOOO very nice! I know a friend living in Singapore who would *love* a Charlene magnet!

Are the kitties organized by their litter? I would personally love to have a set with the Dearborns. I still feel so touched that little Phoebe Dearborn was rescued by that wonderful gentleman on a second check! I would have hated to think what would have happened to her if he hadn't gone back for a second look.

  2. If I could see little Pearla Dearborn (and her grumpy face brother) on my frig every morning it would make me very happy.

  4. O.M.G. These are beyond fantastic!! My fridge is stainless steel (non-magnetic) but I'm still gonna NEED some of these darling magnets!! Laurie, you rock, that's all there is to it.

  5. I would love a Fergus Mayfield or a Tressa Lovejoy magnet. And, of course, a Charlene Butterbean!

  7. They are simply adorable Laurie! I love the one of Thurston Easterbook doing his MJ impression, and of course Miss Charlene too! I'd love to see a set that was all black/white kitties or all tabby, etc. I love the set that looks like it's all orange/buff kitties - super cute! And I agree, a matching Sheldon to sweet Pearla Dearborn would be superb if possible. Will you be able to sell individual magnets so we can mix & match?

  8. Oh adorable!!! I can't wait to buy ALL OF THEM!

  9. Love them!! I too have a fridge that does not accept magnets on the front but I have discovered the open side does and it is covered with kitty pics (mostly for the critter sitters to identify the cats) and other things. The dishwasher loves magnets though so these would look great there. Can't wait to see more close-ups.

  10. These are the final products and will be sold in boxed sets, as pictured.

Sorry, but there's no Sheldon in the mix. He was in a set that was one of the contenders, but that set didn't make the final cut.

It was a hard process. I went through tens of thousands of pictures of our 150 kittens and narrowed it down a handful of images that would reproduce well in that format. If I could of included everyone, I would of!!

  11. Oh my good heavens! I have always loved these type of magnets but have never seen a full set that I would fork over the cash for. I know I'm gonna be dropping big money on these!

  13. I wonder if Tessa made it in there (or was she Tressa? I have CRS...). She was the prettiest kitten you've ever posted, I think!

  14. Gosh, I feel the urge to collect and trade these just like I was back in elementary school!! (I'll trade you two Thurstons for a Beanie...). ;)

  15. Oh I hope there'll be Emory and Linus! Laurie, can yoou tell us which kittens made the final cut?

  16. I think I see one with Perla (smile)

  17. I know she was not a kitten but Drewey would make a fine magnet.

  18. It's All-Over Oliver! How I did love that mischievous cow kitten.

  19. Can't wait! And in anticipation I have put adhesive backed magnetic strips on my stainless steel refrigerator so the magnets will stick. Whoever thought of stainless steel refrigerators is NOT my friend.
    BRING 'EM!

    1. ok - my reply went awry and ended up below.
First I praised your ingenuity then asked where I might obtain such strips (or at least that is my recreation of what I said)

  21. Oh I hope the price is right. I'm suffering from under-employment and am very broke. However, I am so tempted. I'd love a big Bean and set of little kittens for my frig.

  24. Beanie for sure. LOVE the set with the cover off! Francine, DREWEY please, Orson, Nigel, Neville, Porter Mayfield - oh just use the pictures over on the right of this screen!

  25. Not sure how large the "big" ones are, 50 cent piece size? I would prefer the small ones because I could fit more on the frig. Will make great gifts, can't wait!

  26. I don't even care which kitties they are, they're ALL adorable (and, of course, the Bean is sheer perfection!)! I'll buy 'em all, so please, order lots and lots and lots!

  27. Oohh - fabulous idea - where might one obtain such strips?

  28. Oh! pretty magnets! and yeah! i see that little orange spitfire - Rhoda, on one! Sorry Laurie, I always mention Rhoda.. I can't help it, she was, well, just Rhoda. But no Norman :(.. Do you ever hear from Norman's forever family? That little fellow just stole my heart.

  29. I love them and certainly will be getting the Bean one. I'd love a complete set of Dearborns--and maybe a Pearla/Sheldon pair of big magnets? Of course I love all the kitties, especially the floofy ones! You have fostered so many beauties and have such great photographic skills that any magnets you produce will be beautiful but many amazing cats and photos will unfortunately be absent.
