Sparkle Balls and Magnets and Bess, Oh MY!

Let's start of this morning with a couple of photos of lovely Bess.  I haven't posted too many pics of her because she's a tricky one to capture.  The second you pull out the camera and aim it in her direction, she comes running your way.   It's sweet that she likes to be near us,  but it makes it nearly impossible to photograph her!

Now, on to business! I have just restocked the IBKC shop with tons of Sparkle Balls! Hopefully there's enough to get us through the holidays. There are Holiday packs in Christmas colors (for naughty or nice cats and kittens) also blue and silver, and an assortment of blue, pink, red, and purple. They're the perfect gift for all the cats and kittens on your Christmas list! Cats who celebrate Kwanzaa, Chanukah, and Festivus will enjoy them too!   Click HERE to visit the IBKC shop!

I know before I had mentioned I would be doing a calendar this year, but I'm sorry, I just haven't had the time to make it happen. I've I'm a firm believer that if it's worth doing once, it's worth doing right, and a very hairy schedule and a long string of deadlines hasn't allowed me the time to do it right. So, it will have to wait until next year.

BUT, there will be an exciting new IBKC product on the market VERY soon.

This fall, the folks at Ipop contacted me to see if I would be interested in working with them to put out some IBKC magnets.  You've probably seen their products before - maybe you even have some on your fridge already - they're in gift shops literally around the globe.    I love their products and have given many magnet sets as gifts over the years, so I was thrilled when they called.

So, coming to a gift shop near you in mid-January,  IBKC magnets!

There will be five sets of 1-inch magnets, four designs in each set.  There will also be larger, individual magnets available too.

Just to name a few, here are some of the faces we'll be seeing in the sets: Tressa Lovejoy, Twyla Pickett, Rhoda Darling, Pearla Dearborn, Fergus Mayfield, Benny Musselman,  Oliver Furman,  Camille Suprenant, and of course, Ms Butterbean.

This is this is the image of Charlene that will be gracing refrigerators 'round the world...

As soon as I have the final products in my hands, I'll share some more images with you.

We're all very excited about this, and can hardly wait for them to be released!

  1. That's a very "come hither" look on the Bean's face. I am imagining some rather hilarious captions one might add.

  9. Bess is so pretty! Of all the tabbies you've fostered I think she's got the closest resemblance to my Squirt.

  11. Bess is a beauty, please give her a thank you ear rub for finally giving us a chance to see a photo of her.

Lovely young girl...and she has quite a mentor for feline beauty.

  13. I LOVE that photo of Charlene - almost looks like a painting - so yay for the magnets!

Question - who are the two kittens on the right side of the page above the caption "don't mess with tuxes"? They look EXACTLY like two of my little feleuk fosters.

  16. Holy moly, you've been a busy bee, Laurie!! I just ordered some Bean Approved Sparkle Balls (don't tell Maren and Spenser!), and I'm proud of you for putting the calendar off until next year. It'll be *fantastic* just like the rest of your products.

Lady Bess is certainly a beauty, and I love the thought of her trotting up to you for some loving. :)

  18. Do a 15 month calendar, Sept thru the following Dec. Then you can work on it in the spring, for late summer/fall sales, straight on up through Dec!

  19. Ooohh!! I totally just jumped all over the sparkle ball ordering... I really needed to replenish my supply! My dear old lady cat has literally lost interest in all other toys since being introducted to the Charlene Butterbean-approved sparkle balls, and now she will play with them and only with them (truly!). She loves them so much, it's just crazy. Of course it makes me happy to see her so happy... :)

Also -- hello, lovely Bess... such a pretty girl you are!

  25. I know you're going to be inundated with requests - but how about a Jerry Lee magnet with all proceeds for his magnet going to next year's Dog-A-Thon?

  26. To answer Dewi Casgwent up near the top of the comments, yes indeed you CAN buy paint that's magnetic. Then you just paint in on the wall and voila! You can stick adorable kitty magnets all over it!

Bess is SUCH a lovely kitten -- she's going to grow up to be a stunning beauty, it's easy to tell!

  27. I echo above, what no Linus magnet. Shriek!
