Oh, Susanna

Our friend Mari, from Finland, selected the name for our sweet little calico.

She wanted to name a kitten after our friend Sue from Pitter Pats.  The Finnish form of Susan is "Susanna", pronounced fairly closed to the old-fashioned "Susannah".

SO, this dear little one had been graced with the name "Susanna Rose".

It's lovely.  Just like our lovely friend, Sue.

  2. Nice that she has a flower in her name because her face looks to me like a pansy in bloom.

  8. Another perfect name for this perfectly beautiful and floofy little girl. I see something of the Victorian fluffy kittens (usually wearing big bows) in her so such a nice traditional name is so apt. And so great to have a link to Pitter Pats' Sue. A great tribute.

  24. I think Susanna went dumpster diving to find treasures she and her siblings could play with.

  25. She climbed in the bin all by herself. It's filled with crepe paper scraps from cutting on flower petals and it's really fun to play in.
