  1. Anyone else just really want to do a nose-dive into that fuzzy tummy?

  3. What an adorable and happy baby he is. Love him--and I love how content he is in your care (and I mean you plural--not forgetting the Bean).

Med--I want to nose dive into that floof too and kiss that little kiten nose.

  8. Secure kitties! My floofy one would never bare her belly to anyone. She reminds us repeatedly where the term "scaredy cat" comes from.

  9. momma says this could be a nightmare for mommies and daddies out there. I like to sleep on mommy when she has to go to the bathroom. She feels guilty about moving, and almost leaked many many times. bwahaha

  10. There's a type of floofy kitty called a ragdoll that just goes limp when you pick it up and is just generally floppy and super-purry and rolls around on its back a lot, the way Laurie describes the Batsels. I'm wondering, Laurie, if the Batsels have some ragdoll in them? I thought ragdolls were all long-haired Siamese mixes, but the way you describe these tabbies sounds very much like one of my guys. I have two littermates but only one has the ragdoll traits.

  11. From the sweet, lovey, goofy, floppy nature of these Bastels, I world guess there is some Maine Coon in there. If they start growing again at 2 or 3 years old, you'll know it. Our humane society kitten looked and acted exactly the same, started growing again at 3, which it's a maine coon trait.

  12. @FoPo. Ragamuffins are exactly how you described minus the blue eyes. I looked up the breed awhile ago and Wikipedia sounded like they were describing my Zeroichi.

  13. "No kitten was awakened in the making of these photos." (Although I would find it hard to believe no face-plants to the belly occurred.)

  16. Ragamuffins are "designed" from Ragdolls. Thus the similar traits. My boy is a Ragdoll and I must say....amazing personality!!! LOVE the dolls.
