  2. Awww. Here's my characterization of the family based on that couple of minutes: Pearla's the baby of the family (not necessarily the youngest) with that angel's soprano meow and the evidence of awkward eating on her muzzlepouch and paws. Marla's the senior kitten but Geraldine is just behind her, ever ready to topple Marla's alpha status with swipes from her floofy paws. Phoebe's the youngest or next-to-youngest of the bunch, the "pitre" (clown) of the family who makes peace by turning any hint of sibling rivalry into play... isn't anthropomorphism fun? ;)

  7. What are the specs for the babies' quarantine? 2 weeks from arrival, or two weeks from good poop?

  8. They are so tiny! Oh my Lord, how precious they are especially when seen on film. Love little Pearla!

  10. Haha, miss Perla is such a crybaby. My Arthur came running, searching for the kitty who was calling from the speakers... :D

  11. Tried to get a reaction from my Skipper but she did not react. Poor babies such little cries. :)

  12. It's a good thing they're vocal, or they might still be stuck in that wall! And my Harley had to come see who was crying, too.

  13. Oh my! So sweet :D My cat went looking for the kitties, she walked all around the computer and stood up against the screen to see where the babies were hahaha

  16. So adorable. It looks like they're so tiny they haven't quite figured out how to play. I loved the half-hearted "so I hit you with my paw and... now what?"

  17. Oh Cute!!!! I really hope Ms. Pearla's little nosie and the white around it can be destained in future or is it permenantly food stained?

  18. They really are teeny, you can see how little they are when they waddle around on the quilt. Such little little things. Aww.

  19. How cute! And how typical of my own kitties that my boy is the one who came rushing over when I played the video to see what was up with those mewing kittens... were he a bit more confident, would I have a tabby, male Charlene on my hands?

  20. Oh my heavens, these babies are too cute for words. My two feline princesses were mid-eating when they heard the babies crying through the video; they immediately stopped, looked up, and came to the computer to see what was going on!

  23. Everything in Miss Pearla, even the *meep* is so cute it it's unreal! Description "cute as a button" springs into mind...

  25. Quarantine is two weeks but if anyone is showing any signs or symptoms of anything, it's extended and xthey're not allowed to mingle with Bean until I feel is everything has a cleared up.

Anon, Pearla's mouth isn't permanently food stained. It comes off when you wash it. I just don't wash it every time it's dirty because I want her to learn to do it and also I don't want to irritate her nose. She'll figure it out.

  26. OMG, it takes ALL their energy to squeak out those mews!!

  27. I want Sheldon. I WANT Sheldon. his little meezer points look like they're darkening already!

  28. And the Oscar Award for Best Meeping goes to THE DEARBORNS! Was there ever a doubt?

  29. Thank you so much! Pearla is so sweet! And I loved the torties trying to play, and Sheldon's brief appearance and Phoebe tackling her sister. How do you ever step out of the room? Thank you for the video.

  30. These have to be the cutest kittens ever.

  31. Oh my, I would have had to put down the camera and scoop them up! Or at least get right down to their level and cuddle with them :)

They've really mastered the "pitiful tug at your heartstrings" meow. Of course we know full well that they're perfectly content and well-cared for, but man, those meows make you feel so guilty!

  32. Oh those itty bitty babies with their itty bitty mews... Love every one of them. <3

  33. My youngest kitteh girl was sleeping nearby when I played the video and it woke her right up! Strangely enough, even though she's now 15, she still sounds just like those kittens!

Oh my, the teeniest, tiniest, softest meows in the whole wide world! That Marla, leading the way and Pearla who just looks up and meows as if to say - 'what? why are you pointing that camera at me? I iz innocent...' They are just darling! I like the description of them given at comment no 2 by anonymous. Good work.
