  14. Wonderful! I wondered when the Bean was going to get a permanent sibling. She's been so enchanted with kittens...esp, it seemed this last group.

  15. I can say without a doubt that I have never had anything that cute in my Easter basket ;-) Happy Easter!

  16. Was that the only bean in her basket? Or are there more cuties coming?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wait, is this a new sibling for Charlene or a foster baby? Cause either way, YAY! That is one super cute little one. :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm no fan of black licorice, but I would have LOVED a basket full of these! Can't wait to see what other flavors were in the basket :-D

  28. Is this one for keeps? or just a loaner for Easter? Wondering since the little one has been given the Bean surname.

  29. What a little sweetie!
    Congratulations to all!

  30. Oh, the cute little eyes are still blue. What a wee little bean.

  31. Ooooh, Mummy said she would love an Easter basket with a jelly bean just like that in it :)xx

  33. I want to nom-nom this little black bean!
Is this a permanent addition to the family or the first of a basket full of foster cutie pies?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Awww...such a cute little jellybean. And my favorite flavor too! :)

  35. OMG, what a cutie!!! I adore black cats, and especially black kittens. When I saw the pics of Bean with the Medleys, I really thought that you would be keeping one for yourself--Charlene seemed so attached to them, especially Linus.

BTW, I've been lurking here for well over a year, and just love your blog--as does my hubby. Thank you for making us smile each day!

  36. Hey, everyone.. no one said anything about keeping any kittens. This little one is a foster kitten.

I've said this before,, we're not in the market for another. It works the way we have it. Charlene seems pretty happy things are now, and we are too. It works, so why rock the boat?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Awww, I'm in love! :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yes, it works but, uh, getting something in an Easter basket is generally a permanent thing. Cutie though.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nanette says....Looks like you made the Easter Bunny's "Nice" list after all, Charlene.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Easter Bunny must love you beyond measure, Charlene, to bring such a sweet little jelly bean. Might there be a few more in that basket? Jelly beans are small, and the Easter grass can be very floofy...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Squeee!!! Charlene, are there more in the basket???

    ReplyDelete
  42. oh I hope this wasn't the only a one she found in her basket. So tiny, the eyes still blue? Charlene will let you know when she wants to keep one of the kittens. Until that time she will love 'em till they leave, then holler "NEXT!!" Happy Easter!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Such a cutie! I'm wondering, are there more to follow? Or could the Bean have a permanent playmate ;D

Happy Easter Bean, Laurie & Craig >^..^<

    ReplyDelete
  44. Awwwww....that cute little upturned kitten nose! Happy Easter, Charlene and everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thanks for clearing it up, Laurie! It does work perfectly! I hope the Bean's basket was full of wee jelly beans for us to watch grow! So precious, so tiny!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Too much adorableness!!!! I bet Bean is stoked to have someone to cuddle with!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh, what a precious little bit! Eagerly awaiting news on whether he/she came with siblings, or is going to get the Bean's undivided attentions.

    ReplyDelete
  48. How wonderful! The best jelly beans are always black!

We hope yoo all had a super Easter.

    Love Milo and Alfie xx

    ReplyDelete
  49. Absolutely, the best jelly beans ARE always black. But isn't this little bean precious! He/she is so teeny - still blue eyes. Can't wait to find out if there are more colors.

What a lucky girl Bean is. The Medleys were sprung from the kitten room in time for her birthday, and now the big white bunny brings her a jelly bean for Easter. I can't wait for the next holiday! Next week is Admin Prof Day, then Cinco de Mayo, then Nurses Day, and Mother's Day and
    Armed Forces Day.......

  51. Awwwwwwwwwww so tiny!!

Is this little one an only one, or are there more kittens in the litter?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hopefully there aren't so many jellybeans that our Bean will feel overwhelmed this time. Three or four is just lovely, and if they were all black, I think I would have died and gone to kitty heaven! :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'll hold my fingers that this little peanut's name is going to be "JellyBean" or ".....bean" of some kind. What! A! Cutie!

    ReplyDelete
  54. i'm waiting for the little 'white-dot surprise' somewhere??? i think i see a smidge, but am not sure.
