Mimsey, Are You Mad?

DSC_0695

What's wrong little girl?

Oh, I know why you're pouting. You didn't get breakfast this morning. I know you must be hungry, but you're going to have to wait to eat. You've got a big day ahead, and your belly must be empty. I could explain to you why, but I think you might be better off not knowing for now.

That's right today is THE day. The Frosts are heading into the Humane Society to pay a visit to the vet for the old snippity-snip. Wish them luck, please.

Bean will give a Tweet to let you know when they've returned.

  1. I wish them a smooth operation and that they'll be home soon. This means it's almost time for them to go home!

  3. Good luck, Mimsey. This is a big step in your journey to a new Mom and Dad, whom I am sure are waiting for you with lots of excitement and so much love. As we say in our house, "I'm so smart, now, 'cause I went to the SPCA/HSA/vet and got tutored!" Purrs from Edgar and Hawthorne to you and Nigel.

  4. I have to take my two little rescues in for a neutering and spaying (one girl, one boy) later this month... Oh, I am SO scared. It's been so long since I've had a girl kitty, I'm just terrified something will go wrong.

  5. I thought maybe she was mad because you wouldn't let her play with the lovely dangleys yesterday... Good luck little ones. Hope you are not jetting out too soon (and hope you don't have to undergo the expanded pat-down but who could resist patting you two!!)

and to LoJ - Nothing will go wrong, keep the faith!!

  6. Good luck little Frosts, we are sending purrs for a safe surgery and more purrs for a quick recovery. Mimsey, for now, just play with that wonderful sparkle ball, you will forget all about your empty tummy!

  7. Oh, Miss Mimsey, don't worry... you're in excellent hands, and will hardly know what happened. And, you'll get sympathy cuddles/pre-op playtime. Milk it for all it's worth!

  14. Poor babies! Of course it must be done, but I always feel bad for any little kitteh undergoing the snippety-snip. I hope they get back home soon. They may have missed breakfast, but dinner will be extra delicious!

  15. Awww, poor baby! At first I also thought she was still mad about the ornaments! Good luck tiny ones, we're all thinking of you and can't wait until you are safely home again. I'm sure Charlene will be a great nurse and give you lots of TLC!

  16. Off topic- what brand sparkle balls do you get for the kits and the Bean? I got a pack once, used them for only two days because they shed sparkly strands everywhere!

  17. Oh that sort of mad. I thought you were suggesting she was slightly insane for daring to take one of Charlene's sparkle balls.

  21. GreatSheElephant - that was what I thought too! MIMSEY! Step away from the Bean's glitter ball!! (I know the babies will be fine, but mine will be added to the sigh of relief when we know they're home safe.)
