A Message from Mom

From an email last night....

I've got all the information written down and in my purse. I'm taking in our car: litter box and scoop, dry food in baggie, little bowls, bottled water, small blanket to put over top of carrier in case it's cold in Chicago, Can you think of anything else I might need? We will head right home after the pick-up. I am so excited! Seeing their cute little pictures on your blog is torture! We'll call you from the airport right after we have met up with Kim.

Feel free to call anytime for an update on how we are doing. Talk to you soon, and thanks so much for all your help in arranging this!!! There is a chance I could get quite emotional tomorrow. I can feel it coming on. Love, Mom

  1. Tell your mom she has everything those babies need...buckets and buckets of love! Not so cold in Chicago today...O'Hare forecast: Today
Partly sunny in the late morning and early afternoon then becoming cloudy. Highs in the mid 40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

  2. So good to see the fuzzballs are going to such a good home! That blanket won't be wasted since 40 degrees is chilly for kitties.

  3. I bring a towel for under the carrier when my cat travels, just in case she has a little accident so that the car seats won't get peed/sprayed on. But they're kittens and I'm sure this will be not as traumatic as trips are for older kitties. To them I bet this is one exciting adventure (with a happy ending of course).

  7. Looks (if I'm guessing correctly) like the babies should be landing in about 2 minutes. I'm nearly as thrilled as I'd be if they were coming to live with me.

  8. GAH! The waiting is killing me! Oh happy day for the Frosts. I'm sure I'd be just like your mom with happy tears streaming down my face as soon as I see the kittens. I can feel some tears forming right now.

    Hooray!

  14. Your Mom rocks! And so does your Dad, of course. If it's anything like when I adopted my youngest kitty girl, there WILL be tears of joy!
