Goofy, Glorious, Gorgeous

I didn't plan on getting kittens so soon, but the foster room was completely packed, and they needed to free up some space. Darcy at the HS sent out a 911 email, and in this email, she attached pictures of the litters.

Most of the kittens came with mamas, and we take babies only. There was a set of three orphans, and the Frosts. I told Darcy we could take either, which ever she prefers, and would pick them up that evening when I came to pick up the Lively Bunch after their surgery.

Really, either set would of been fine, all the kittens were adorable, but secretly I wanted the Frosts. If you saw this picture, wouldn't you want them too?

So in they moved, and here they are...

One goofy, glorious, gorgeous pair of kittens.

  1. Not second! LOL

Love that last picture - so much like human brothers and sisters when they are little

  3. Oh what a TREAT! You know, my dear - if I'm ever feeling blue and I can't get to my laptop OR my netbook (horrors the thought!) I can imagine your little basket full of floofy babies with their faces turned up toward me (well, YOU, and the camera) and I am instantly happied. YOU are a purveyor of unalloyed delight.

I second Dale-Harriet's comment. I get so much delight visiting this blog. Makes a grey rainy day much much better.

  9. Nigel reminds me very much of my Dad's kitty; whose fur is thick like lamb's fur and her mew sounds like a baa!

So everytime I see Nigel now, I think of him baa'ing. xD SO CUTE!

  12. Laurie, you and your family are truly amazing.
Seeing the first picture actually brought tears to my eyes because it's a real reminder of where so many sweet little babies spend so much time waiting for a home.
By the time I got to the last picture, I was chuckling.

    So thank you. :)

In the first photo, is Nigel laying on one of Sue's handmade cat mats?

  18. These two have so much personality! Mimsy's cocked head in the first shot, and then Nigel
s crinkled pink tongue in the second, are just adorable. The IBKC -- it's my happy place.

  26. Dear Anonymous @ 7;13 a.m.,

Marie-Noire was indeed irresistible; as with any addiction, you have built up a certain tolerance and you feel you need these two to get your kitten fix.

    Interventionistas: BEWARE!
