Bye-Bye Blue Eyes

Yesterday, the remaining Lively Bunch went in for surgery. Everything went splendidly, so this morning we're getting all their suitcases packed and they will all be departing later this afternoon.

And when I say ALL, I mean all three lovely little Lively kittens are getting adopted together. That's right. One family, three kittens.

I thought you might like that.

Anyway, more on that tomorrow.

For now,, sniff,,, let's all get prepared to say goodbye to these baby blues.

  1. How I'll miss this Lively bunch, but am utterly delighted that the three remaining sweeties will stay together. Congratulations to their new family. I'm so very jealous.

  3. Oh yes that does help with the sadness of their leaving to know they'll get to stay together - such sweeties. They'll be missed...

  4. OMG, all 3? That is so amazing! Yay! Looking forward to the story, even though it will be hard saying goodbye. See, Irving looks sad too! But I'm sure he'll be very happy in his new home with his sister and brother. And Truman will get to keep on groomin' both of them!

  9. Yay for the three little kittens! I'm not sure I'd have the stamina to raise three kittehs at once, but it would be fun to try!

  16. Laurie: I know there are people that have adopted three IBKCs in total, but I can't recall if anyone has ever adopted three at once. Has that happened before?

  17. Not any IBKCs but I did adopt three kittens at once, because there were three and I couldn't conceive of splitting them up. They are awfully sweet and wonderful kitties (now over 2 1/2 years old) but it was tiring at times when they were teaching each other bad habits (oooo... you can climb these curtains to see this view). There was one time I lockeded myself in the bathroom because I needed a break. And paws came under the door (what are you doing, mom? can we play?), and I just needed a deep breath or three. I love them, but I feel for the person who is adopting the Livelies. They will have their work cut out for them!

  18. I, too, adopted three kittens at once, two one night and one a few days later. I had a young kitty that I put with the single (quarentine issues) and then the four got to romp together. Then I found out the single had ring worm. My vet was loving me, rather, my check book... Congrats to the Lively's and the new Lively servants!!

  24. Just looking to see if you had any kitty postcards, but I'm not seeing anything available right now? Any plans for new packs coming out in time for the holiday season?

  26. The three Lively kittens packed their mittens,
It's off to their new family they go,
Our hearts are broken, we'll miss their antics,
But we're grateful as all get-out that they all got adopted together and send their family every loving and supportive vibe possible.

  28. This could not have been any more perfect. I think somebody won't be leaving their house for a while. I mean, come on, Truman, Fiona, and Irving in the same home? I would never leave. I can't wait to hear who is adopting these three. I miss them already, especially Fiona's little nose and Truman's cheeks.
