Aww, you can see the inner crank. :)
Gorgeous picture of her..She was such a beautiful cat..even with her inner crank..
I'm with Margie! She was lovely to the end but it's now apparent she was always a crank! We miss you, Drewey!
Whenever I run across an old photo of my bestest cat ever, it's like a Christmas present. It makes me stop and treasure the memories all over again.
Such a cranky old soul in her youthful little body, there in that photo. Drewey was surely one of a kind, and it's a treat to be able to see more photos of her.
Awwww. Dear Drewey! As intense as a youngster as she was all grown up. Such a lady cat! Thanks for sharing such a precious memory, Laurie.
What a striking, angular face. I miss her.
Yep, what everyone has said, cranky from the get-go!
Thank you soooo much for posting a Drewey pic. I really miss seeing her sweet face pop up in the blog every now and then. And *I* don't think she looks cranky...she is obviously just a very deep thinker and is lost in her (profound, I am sure) thoughts. :)
I'm with the above. You could see Drewey's inner crank when she was a youngster. It shows how comfortable she was with you and so sure of your acceptance of her that she showed you her inner being right from the start! Thank you for sharing!
Isn't it funny that we forget how little and young they once were? What a pretty young lady she was!
Awww, how sweet, though I agree with others in saying that you can see her inner crank even in this photo. Loves the black and white format too.
Oh my... how bittersweet a find for you. Drewey was such a lovely cat (the cranky ones can be the best!), and she definitely still looks rather kittenish here. Think I can get a decent idea, from this, of what she must've looked like when truly an itty bitty herself.
hi little drewey. :)
What a treat for you to find this photo of Drewey, young, energetic, and healthy. Her face hints at the senior she will become. Thanks for sharing this. I, too, miss your old girl.
So sweet!!! rest in peace Drewey, may your have a sunny spot with all the toys and comforts your heart desires!
R.I.P. beautiful Drewey! And Laurie, your photographic skills were present even in 1994.
What a lovely photo. The black and white format suits her. It's always a blessing to have pictures of our kittehs when they were younger to pull out and "remember when".
I'm just glad she made her way to your household!
Haha, junior crank. Love the picture!
Thank you for posting this lovely picture. Drewey looks very formidable and serious. I would have hated to be a mouse or chipmunk with a kitty like that around. I also think it's interesting how after you are around cats a lot you can see their age in their faces the same as you would in humans. Here she has a sleek, triangular youthful profile. But when cats get to be elderly, their little faces sag a little even though the fur hides the wrinkles:)
What a beautiful portrait of young Drewey! She was a very special little lady cat.
I'm missing it. I don't see the inner crank. But I do think she was a cutie. :)
How adorable-- I love these moments to remember a beloved pet. Young Drewey looks startlingly like Lottie Bouvier! http://www.theittybittykittycommittee.com/2008/03/it-goes-in-your-ear-lottie.html
She is beautiful. I think thiis is how she looks over the rainbow bridge.
I miss Drewey - she was a lovely resident crank.....
Drewey is such beautiful lady.... :)
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3
She was a sweet crank....looks very intent on looking serious as a young girl. Thanks for sharing this glimpse of Drewey.
I have literally been gone from 5:30 this morning until but I would feel completely remiss if I didn't also "harrumph" Drewey's inner crank. What a wonderful girl! I miss and heart Drewey.
I also love finding photographs of "days gone by" -- this one of a young and intense Drewey is a treat. I see the budding inner crank, but looking at her expression at a young age, I think of Drewey as someone who always wondered why EVERYBODY didn't wear sensible shoes.
she had certainly perfected the eye liner!
What a great photo of her. So soft. She was certainly a lady, even when she was so young.
BABY DREWEY! Okay, young lady Drewey. Such a pretty, beautiful lady cat, and the visible "inner crank" only adds to her charm. I love the look on her face - so serious, somewhat disapproving of whatever she's observing.
What a great photo! Beautiful Drewey! You have a place in your momma's heart.
Today I saw a kitten at Petco who looked just like Miss Drewey <3 Such lovely little girls ^_^
Drewey was such a pretty little girl. I don't see what everyone else seems to see in this picture. I don't see any crankiness, at all. Just a pretty little cat in thought. She was a beautiful lady.
