Floating on Air!

DSC_1062
Just a little bit ago, Marguerite, Director of Development at the Humane Society, popped over with a giant bouquet of celebratory balloons and get this... a GIANT tub of sparkle balls! Everyone at the HS is thrilled to no end about what we accomplished.

I'm still working on a big old love note to you,, but I've got to go pick up a couple of kittens from the vet right now. I'll be back later to tell you again how fabulous you are.

I feel like I'm floating on air. xoxoxoxooxxoo

  4. Woot! Sparkle ball-palooza for the kitties! They deserve it. All that eyelash-batting and all...

I'm betting the curly ribbons hanging off the balloons will be a bit with with the kitties.

  12. for-TAY! squil-LION! for-TAY! squil-LION!

Yay to the whole IBKC community! God bless the internets for being able to bring people together for such a great cause!

I'm so glad I was able to give a tiny bit towards this! It was the very least I could do considering all the smiles that the IBKs, Charlene, and the dearly departed Drewey have brought me.

(And if I could get a little PSA for a moment - there are shelters in need all around the world - maybe next time you have a spare $20 consider giving it to a local shelter. Just don't forget to save a bit for next year's IBKC Dog-a-thon.)

  13. I'm not betting on the longevity of those balloons in a household of furry creatures with sharp claws and a healthy share of curiosity!

I am blessed to see that, once again, the IBKC community has worked a miracle!

Now remember, Charlene, you now actually have to share those sparkleballs with the kittens. They've earned it! :)

  22. Check the "top teams" and "top individuals" boxes on the right. The doggie teams were left far far far behind:
