Betty's a Real Charmer. So is Biscuit.

DSC_0823

I really hate to play this card.  I do. But I've given it a lot of thought, and because we have just FOUR days left of fundraising,  and we still have a few squillion to go before we reach our goal, I'm going to have to do it.

OK,  here we go.   No one, I mean no one (bats eyelashes) can resist (bats eyelashes) a kitten giving you a big-eyed  (bats eyelashes) melty look.   So now (batts eyelashes) that you're under my spell  (batts eyelashes)  please click here, and help us reach our goal.

BISCUIT !   I think I need your help!  There's too many of them out there.  I don't think I can do this on my own.   BISCUIT!

Give me a minute... I'm trying (bats eyelashes) to work this one over (bats eyelashes).   I think it might be working.   Wow.  Who knew we tiny kittens had such power!

More sparkle balls please.  (bats eyelashes).    I would like some tuna. (bats eyelashes) Please heat it up in the microwave for twenty seconds first. (bats eyelashes)  Let's play with the feather wand.  (bats eyelashes)

Click HERE to help us reach our goal!   Just four days left,,, so please don't delay!

  4. But, some of us can't afford to help! And now we feel like we are terrible people! *hangs head in shame*

  5. We certainly don't want ANYONE to feel bad for not donating! And we don't want anyone to give more than then can. We're just hoping that those who are in a position to give, will give to help the homeless cats and kittens.

  6. I would have loved to donate, but sadly the site doesn't allow for paypal. So I donated to a girl in the UK who plans to walk up three mountains in 24 hours, to raise money for the battery hens trust. I love kitties, but I also love hens (I have 4 cats and 2 hens) and the battery hens' plight is very dear to my heart. I hope that Charlene will understand and forgive me for donating to the feathery critters instead of the furry ones.

  7. i'm assuming this is how we got to 30 squillion. good job, girls!

aww anonymous, it's okay! just loving kitties and being aware of the importance of shelter cats and foster programs, like this blog has emphasized oh so much, makes you the exact opposite of a terrible person!

  8. I'm with the above, Anon. Never feel terrible when visiting this site. You can only do what you can. And for those who asked if kitties have eyelashes, I must say that my girl kitty definitely does and knows how to use them well!

  10. I'm curious to know what the full total is...auctions+the entire IBKC team. I'm sure it would motivate people to know how close we are!

  12. Anon - just sharing in the loving spirit of IBKC-land and caring for the furries is special and appreciated!

If you can't give money - a little time with shelter kitties, or a couple cans of gooshy food as a treat are appreciated. Pet food elves and fairies are always welcome. I have been one for years in Bellevue!

  15. Fuzz - The other gals have raised about $1500. As for the auctions, they're not over yet, and I'm going to add that all in at the end. When we're all through, I'll announce the grand total and let everyone know how much we raised on the days devoted to the senior at fund, foster program and spay/neuter programs.
