It's Only a Matter of Time...

They bigger they get, the less they sleep. The less they sleep, the longer they play. The longer they play, the more they climb. The more they climb, the higher they go, and it's only a matter of time before the drapes come down.

  3. The best is always rescuing trapped dangling kittens. :)

Clement looks like and instigator. :)

  4. The last picture totally looks like a strategy seminar on drapery climbing...."You see, you stick your paw out this way, extend your toes, reach for the flower that's just over your head..."

  5. Funny.. None of my cats have ever climbed drapes, just get between them and the window for their private "warm room", and of course leave tons of hair on the inside of the drapes. The last 2, however, have discovered window screens, and like to climb them. So far, knock on wood, no destroyed screens.

  6. These pictures made me laugh so hard!!! Seriously, I just sat down and laughed like a hyena... so funny. I love all the standing action and the splayed-for-exploring paws...!! Laurie, what's the noise level while all this is going on, are they talking to each other and you, or are they too busy to be talking?

  11. How adorable.
By the way, I stopped by the Humane Society's home page and I believe it looks just like "The Bean"

  12. What a strategy session the kittens are having!

But I have 1 warning for them....spread your ounces out along the curtain. Don't all climb in the same narrow strip...UNLESS it is immediately below the support for the curtain rod.

Sigh...Was Charlene a climber as a wee one?

  13. Heidemarie,
Unless I am wrong, that IS a picture of Charlene! Remember, there is now the Charlene Butterbean Qarrentine at the Seattle Humane Society, thanks to Ms. Bean, Laurie, the good folks on the innertubes...and a few adorable kitten fundraisers!

  15. What a wonderful bunch of little Troublemakers.

I'm sure that Charlene Butterbean will be glad to instruct them on the finer points of curtain climbing, judging from her own exploits.

Kittens are such good re-decorators. When it is time to change the color of the drapes, the kittens help take them down. So cute!

  21. This is so stinkin' cute. In the last pic it looks like kids in the window are having quite the pow-wow. Making evil plans I'm sure. :)
