  5. They look to me like they're changing color, like maybe they were blue when she was first born and they'll end up more green/hazel. Such a pretty little girl.

  6. And the mouff! Are her mouff markings all "just" markings, or does she have an itty bitty scar?

  7. She's so fashionable! Her gloves match her scarf!

  8. She is, indeed, a born supermodel... even has a Cindy Crawford-esque beauty mark by her mouth!

  9. Personally, I'm partial to those cutie paws.

  13. Beautiful Bernice, you're going to have the beans and boys lining up for you!

  14. So polite this one...crossing her white gloved paws just like we were taught in our "White Gloves & Party Manners" class!

  15. "Our" Bernice is quite the little lady. However, every time I hear that name I think of the ditzy Bernice on Designing Women. She was portrayed by the marvelous Alice Ghostley, who was also the fabulous Esmerelda on Bewitched.

  16. Personally, I really like her little white "beauty mark" on her left cheek!

  17. And are Bernice's eyes staying blue? All kinds of adorable!

  19. I bought my first set (actually 5 sets) of IBKC cards a few months ago, and I am REALLY looking forward to/hoping to see the Anderson-Ericksons immortalized on a set of cards as well.

Sigh. I heart Bernice, and her lovely kitten whiskers!

  20. Suzanne! Gosh, I used to teach the "White Gloves and Party Manners" classes.... as well as the "Seventeen Beauty Workshops"! Good to know someone remembers those days!

  21. Yes, she's beautiful. Yes, she's a supermodel. Yes, she has impeccable manners and a cultured air about her. Yes, she looks stunning in a swimsuit.

But what Bernice really wants the judges to know is that she wants to go to college, major in international relations, and then use her gifts to help people and kittens everywhere. Maybe paws-on relief work, maybe advocacy or community organizing (she's heard that can be a stepping stone to big things), and eventually the diplomatic corps. She believes something has to be done to bring peace to Rwanda and other countries torn by civil unrest, and that the war in Afghanistan needs to cease. She doesn't understand why we all can't just get along.

Right now, however, she's concentrating on looking cute, eating kitten food and cleaning up properly afterward, playing with her siblings, pouncing, leaping, purring --- all these are bedrock skills for her future endeavors. She looks forward to being introduced to sparkly balls and of course, to meeting Mother Superior (the Bean).

  22. The queen of the cow kitties!

  23. She is a darling. I wish that you had rescued my darlings. I think that the woman who rescued my babies kept them in one room in cages. They still run when a loud noise occurs and I have had them for 1 year. Oh well, I still love them. One is on my lap right now. Typing with a tiger is hard!
I read every day about your adventures!

  24. Bernice is going to grow up to be a charmer, no doubt about it. I can't stop looking at those little paws, so demurely crossed.

  25. Oh, Cynthia - thank you for translating her speaking look for us! She looks like she has plans for her life, experiencing it with all 4 paws!

Just wait for the first Charlene meeting!
    I can hardly wait!

itty bitty chin skritches for all!
