LOOK Everybody! It's Rhoda !!!

I know you're all excited to see this little orange face again! It's IBKC alum, Rhoda Darling. Evelyn, her mama, was kind enough to share these sweet pics and a little update too! THANK YOU Evelyn..... here's what she had to say...

Rhoda has grown up to be the sweetest little thing! We actually renamed her "Poppy" - one, because her orange fur reminded us of a California poppy, and two, she has the funnest, happiest personality!

My husband always says, "Poppy just didn't know the rules", like, cats don't play with dogs, or young cats don't play with old cats. When she came into our family, she just wanted to play with everyone! So over the last few months, with perseverance, she has become good friends with Marley the dog - they wrestle and play all day long, and she has really brought out the kitten in 10 year old Nemo. He loves her and is very protective of her, keeping an eye on her whenever she goes outside, and the two of them sleep all curled up together. She is so much fun and we all love her so much! She's been such a great addition to our family.

  11. ROFL I fail. I missed the line about them changing her name. Anyway, Poppy's now grown into such a beautiful girl. I remember when the Darlings first arrived, I would audibly squee whenever Rhoda was in frame.

  14. Sounds like Poppy nee Rhoda Darling has landed herself a very posh pad, it comes with sophisticated older boyfriend, Nemo, and personal trainer, Marley. I always knew that girl would do well for herself, glad to see it come true.

  17. Great to see Rhoda/Poppy all grown up! She's so pretty, and has that same fearless look on her face that she had as a tiny kitten. I bet she never doubted for a minute that she'd become best friends with her housemates. Thanks, new owner and Laurie, for the update.

  18. Cutie pie! Such personality in that face, and IIRC, Rhoda was always a spunky girl.

  24. What a beautiful marmalade cat she has turn out to be. And Poppy is a perfect name for her. I note those gorgeous amber eyes took some time to develop - they still looked kinda greenish in her graduation picture, Thank you, Evelyn, for giving us an update - and please give Poppy a snorgle for us!
