Helloooo in There!

Miss Millie is a burrower. The other night she dove under this blanket for a nap.

This blanket is also Charlene's favorite spot to make biscuits. While Millie napped, Charlene kneaded and kneaded the blanket until she kneaded Millie right out of her hidey-hole. Miss Millie slept through it all.

  6. Millie, Millie, Millie!

I have a burrower, too. Sometimes I go in the bedroom and there's a little lump under the covers in the middle of the bed. It's too cute!

Can't wait to see Millie & the Bean together!

  7. Millie is quickly becoming my favorite. She is tiny but holds her own, against siblings and big scarey spiders! And she is so adorably orange.

  8. What. A. Sweetie.

Naps are serious bizness, and nothing shall interfere, including making biscuits!

  9. Such a sound sleeper, she must be working too hard at all that kitten fuzziness!

  10. I love the burrows. I always leave a little nest for my Daphne in the comforters on my bed (gives me a good excuse not to make the bed!) :)

  11. Who wouldn't want a hidey-hole, if Ms. Butterbean came and needed you every day?

  12. That is such a calendar worthy shot!! Seriously, Laurie!!

Miss Millie, you just make us want to cuddle in there with you! We are soooo jealous of Charlene!

  13. Do all cats knead? I've only seen Jada do it once or twice on a fleece we had on the couch -- and she didn't seem like she was doing it for pleasure. She looked more disgruntled that the fleece wasn't in the perfect position for a nap and so she had to prep it for proper use.

  15. HubbleSpacePaws has a great idea.. IBKC calendars! Oooo.. hard to pick just 12 pictures.. Maybe we'd need a page-a-day?

  16. Yes! page a day, I like those better and I bet Laurie has more than 365 photos, many more. As to the burrowers, I leave my electric blanket on for the kitties when I go to work. No fire worries, I have roommates that are home when I am at work:)Want more cats on your bed? get a heated blanket, they cannot resist it. Heated and covered in fleece even better

  17. Ahhh - scoot to the side for JUST a second...I will crawl under the blankie, and carefully shift Millie onto my lap, then I hope the Bean will knead me as well. As long as she would not mind my having my 2 furry girls too!

  19. I totally agree with the above comments about making that picture into a calendar. I need that kitty on a calendar for my office! A kitty-a-day calendar! 365 days of Cats! Oh what joy to a dreary work day it would bring! :)

  20. My tiny orange girl is a burrower, too. She likes to be surrounded. Right now she's sleeping in an empty shipping box full of foam peanuts.

  21. How much does she weigh now, Laurie? She looks like such a little sweetie! She can burrow under my blanket anytime.
