Draper Kitties at Their Ittiest

DSC_0723
I was looking through some early shots of the Draper kittens, and found this picture. They're so itty here. All four kittens fit comfortably in the basket back then. Now, there's hardly room for one. The kittens are growing at record speed. Perry gain SEVEN ounce in the past six days. (on average, a kitten gains 1/2 an ounce a day)

Everyone's over two pounds now, even little Miss Millie. In fact, they all went in for the old snippity-snip today, and I'm about to head off to the Humane Society to pick them up.

So yes friends, the end is near. Savor these final Draper moments.. I know I will.

  2. Congratulations on your itty bitty part removal, babies! This is a big step in life! The next step to a wonderful furever home.

  3. Oh my! THAT is the real reason for Millie's mug on the previous photo.

Before they go - can we get to see Luella more? Is she that 'busy' or camera shy?

  4. But, but, but, I finally figured out how to tell Perry apart from Gordon! Oh, the itty bitties, they grow up so fast! And another vote for more Louella: although all the Drapers are cute and fun and wonderful, I think Lou stole a little piece of my heart with her calico ways.

  5. Ooooh already??? Ah, dear me, it always seems like there's never enough time with these itty bitties. Any news on their furever homes?

  6. Anonymous - so its YOUR fault the Drapers will move on! Doncha know learning to tell twin kittens apart is like when you wash your car and then it rains?????

    Sheesh.... lol

  7. We adore that pic where they are all in the basket together ~ how on earth did yoo manage that? Was it sooper-gloo?

We'll miss them but we are happy that they will have forever homes. Wot a wonderful start in life yoo have given them.

  9. I agree with KatBoxJanitor — I really want to see more of Miss Luella! She's just the most adorable Tortie (though I only say that because my own isn't nearby... she'd hate me if she knew I thought another was prettier). More of her, please? And whoever gets her is one lucky kitten-adopter!

  10. I think we are seeing here the formation of the Society for the Advancement of More Pictures of LuElla. Do you think she'd be impressed enough by SAMPLE that she might agree to have some more photos taken before she packs her bags for her (very lucky) forever home? Please, Luella? Please, Laurie?

  11. SAMPLE? What a glorious idea! I fully support this cause. *signs up*

  13. My heart breaks a little each time the end draws near. I get so attached to each precious litter, and I'll do it again with the next one.

    webbthistle, SAMPLE is just brilliant!

  15. I get the impression that some of the Drapers are already spoken for. Is that true? I hope it is.
