Brothers' Lover

DSC_2242
I'm sorry Arthur, but I have eyes for another.

In fact, it's your brother.

Please don't take it personally.

It's just that I have a thing for fluffy tabby boys.

I feel so rejected.

  5. Awww. Poor Arthur. We have plenty of love for you, and Ms. Charlene will learn to love you, too.

  6. Boy, Charlene can sometimes hurt a guy. OUCH, Arthur honey!

  8. A thing for fluffy tabby boys?

You and me both, Charlene. You and me both.

  9. Oh Artie! {{{hugs}}} Charlene... that is not the beanage I've come to know and love. Tossing over Arthur for a pretty (okay, totally swoon-worthy) floof of a boy...you should be ashamed! (tee hee!)

  13. Awww poor Arthur. I'm sorry, but I'm kind of with Charlene. I'm head over heels in love with Benny. But, Arthur, you look like my 9, so I'm not sure if I could deny you at all...

  14. Benny. Benny. Benny. He who looks startling like my late and still beloved Morgan, I am smitten. Hook line and Sinker.

Charlene. I don't blame you a bit, Bean

  17. You know, I don't think that Ms. Butterbean is in love with Benny - that looks she's giving him says "Hmmm..."tabby" starts with a "t" and so does "trouble", so I'm keeping my eye on him to make sure he doesn't get up to di-does. Last thing we need is for him to hambush Drewey - it wouldn't end well."

  19. Hey Arthur - You just don't need her special cleaning skills - Benny must get into a whole lot messier stuff than you sweetie

  20. Arthur, hey, is it possible that you were doing something to, well, annoy Charlene? You seem to be a bit of a card from some of the other pictures of you, and perhaps The Bean was merely dealing with you.

What REALLY happened in that first photograph? Was Charlene rightfully repelling an itty bitty kitty attack? Come on, tell us!!! We'll still love you.

  21. Okay, this won't be a popular comment, but does this little of beautiful floofies look just a liiittttllle bit clueless? I mean, Hubie had a plan. Selma had a plan. Luigi was on a mission. Dominick was always thinking the deep thoughts.

Benny? What's his plan? :) "I'm gonna pway for a while, and den mebbe I'm gonna take a nap wit' my brudder." Benny! That's not a plan! What are you going to do with your life, son??? You've got to get that financial aid application done, your transcripts sent in, etc., or you'll spend the next year looking for a job at the mall.

These kitties are eye-candy, for sure (cutest since Wendell, I think), but is one of them going to write a great American novel? Go to grad school? Work on a cure for cancer?

Or is it that they're so unbearably cute with their floof, their stubby paws and their gummed-reinforcement eyes that I just can't take them seriously. Maybe I'll be shocked to find someday that one of them has become President of the United States!

  22. LMAO, Cynthia!

In truth, I think it's because their eyes are a tiny bit rounder than some past litters - giving them a wide-eyed, innocent look. Or maybe I'm just thinking of excuses to examine kitten faces very, very carefully.
