Kitten Curtain Hammock

Such smart kittens they are. They managed to create a little hammock out of our livingroom drapes!

That little triangle shaped shadow on the lower left side of the curtain is Rhoda's ear.

  1. Of course they're brilliant. They're IBKC kitties. All that love and nurturing makes their hearts and brains exceptional.

  2. See, technically that's naughty, but they're so cute you can't disturb them. This is the central dilemma of feline companionship.

  3. These Darlings are very intelligent Darlings! And, Darling Darlings... very!

  4. I'm with Deodand. It really *is* technically naughty, but who could have the heart to move them, let alone chastise them???

  7. Now, if the top kitty (Hubie? Selma?) moves, they're all in trouble!

  9. Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for this wonderful website - your cute kitty pictures and stories really, really brighten my day :o)

I devoured your complete blog this weekend, going "awwwww" about 4.193 times ;o), and by now I'm almost sure that I'm going to adopt one or two (small or big) kittens of my own as soon as we move into our new house in September.
(Remaining issues to check: 1. Doctor's final opinion on suspected cat allergy, 2. Cat-sitting capacity of future neighbors in case of business trips and vacations.)

Too bad I'm living in the wrong part of the world, or I'd adopt Selma and Francine Darling - they're just so so so sweet :o) (I've got Selma as my desktop wallpaper now ...)

Thank you again for your site, and thank you for all the work you do to give these little ones loving forever homes!

Nadine (as in Pickett :o)) from Heidelberg, Germany

  13. curtain climbing is only a tiny little rough-house away.
SO smart! good thing they still only weight a few ounces a piece or you might be giving that curtain rod a little extra support! :)
thank goodness Butterbean is far too mature for such things.
