  1. I think I just died with my heart going "squish" with a loud side of AAWWWWHHHHHH....

  2. I am just amazed you can let them go when they are ready to be adopted. I would become too attached.

Enid and Hester send their love, head bumps and nose licks to you and Charlene.

  3. We know exactly what you mean - we (the DH and I) foster kitties. We never knew there could be so many fascinating, funny and special moments in each day. Fostering tugs at your heart strings but it is sooooooo worth it. We can't imagine life without fostering.

And we owe it all to the IBKC - it inspired us to take the fostering leap. Thanks everyone!

  18. Laurie - it's been something of a rough patch around here, but let me tell you: if I begin to be sad, or weary, or blue - I come here, where the combination of the baby pictures, the darling captions - and the warm and delightful affection of the comments (THANKS, fellow commentors!) return me to balance. I say it every time: 1. How CAN each new batch be cuter and sweeter than the one before?; and 2. POSTCARDS, PLEASE??? :o)

  19. Rhoda is doing a surprisingly accurate impression of me driving to work this morning.

Darlings is right! This bunch is especially special.

Dale-Harriet, bless your big heart. When I lost my Morgan kitty to cancer in April, the IBKC helped with the grief. This is a very good place to be during rough patches.

  20. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. My kitten Vash (well he's 3 - no TECHNICALLY a kitten but he'll always be one in my mind) has just rediscovered the ball on a track. He'll completely forget about it for MONTHS at a time.
I think I'd die of cute-itis if Vash fell asleep like that!

  29. You have GOT to be kidding me. This is a ploy to kill us all, I just know it. Falling asleep in her toy? It's MURDER, I tell you.

Good gravy I love this batch already. They are just too too cute.

  30. What I love most about these pictures: most of us cat owners have a whirly-ball-toy. How teeny-tiny the little girl must be, to be able to tuck her head in so sweetly!

  31. Rhoda looks like she was counting to 10 for hide-and-go-seek but then fell asleep. That's fortunate for Hubie and Francine since it looks like they didn't get very far in the hiding process.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love the hide & seek comment....it is all to likely with IBK's this tiny!

    wow - love 'em.
