I know it's Tempting... But

Butterbean's backend and Rhoda

Don't mess with the Butterbean's tail, Rhoda. Trust me, if you do, you'll be sorry.

  1. Rhoda, let me give you a tip: Poke Charlene back paws, then run as fast as you can, hide and pretend it was one of your sibblings!!! - Jeanne

  9. Aww, someone's about to learn a lesson the hard way :)

I'm sure Charlene will be only as strict as necessary and will follow-up with a bath though

  15. Ok....I am madly in love with little Rhoda, and if I wasn't so far away I'd snatch her up before you could complete an eye blink!

  16. Oh, Rhoda, it'll be totally worth it! You'll get treated to a first class Butterbeaning (hugging, bathing, etc.) and you'll have a great story to tell your grandchildren.

  17. Hi!

I found your blog from the Wendy Knits blog, and I have spent half the day here. I started at the beginning, and I have read, fallen in love, laughed, and cried since I began. Thank you for all you are doing. I do have one question - does it get any easier to let them go now that you have done it so many times? Or is it as hard as it was the first time?

    Thanks!

  18. ROFL! Oh, so good to come home to Rho-bean antics after being unplugged for a week!

    Sooooooo... did she???

And a big "yeah!" on reaching the 5 squillion mark! Now, to 8 squillion... infinity and beyond!!!

  20. Ah, kittens. Just reading your page makes me feel better. I still haven't gotten over the loss of my special one (he was 18) two years ago. But we have a dachshund (raised by cats) who thinks she's a cat, a male (raised by saiad dachshund) who thinks he's a dog, and a brindle female who thinks she is Bast. But if you were closer, I would be on that adoption list. As you are not, then the least I can do is donate; it isn't much but I know that everything helps. Thanks again for giving me a place I know I can come to for a smile :-)

  21. Welcome to the newcomers from the reg.readers of IBKC! We love Laurie, Craig, Ms. Butterbean, and the babies and have a really close-knit society of people who regularly ooh and ahh over their antics. How lucky are we that there are such people in the world to take care of the littles PLUS treat us to such great pictures???

I thank goodness for them every day.

  23. HOORAY for newcomers to the IBKC community!

Lots of joy, stress relief and an occasional tear, but it is a grand community!

And to Rho - I hope you have recovered from your Butterbeaning!
