Charlene Butterbean-Counter

Charlene Butterbean-Counter

I just got done meeting with our fundraising campaign's financial advisor, Charlene Butterbean-Counter. She seemed to think that our initial goal of $3000 was much too modest, and suggested we raise it a tad.

After doing a little number crunching, she decided that five squillion dollars would be a realistic goal.

Five squillion, Charlene? I think you got your toe-nail caught on the zero. Let's try five thousand instead.

We're off to such a great start! Thanks to all of you who added to the "kitty". We appreciate all your support!!

  2. 5 squillion? Is that more or less than a bazillion? :)

Whatever, it's probably still not enough for deserving kitties.

  7. Deodand -

it took me a second, but I'm still guffawing.

Whoever it is, I'm glad she put her fuzzy paw down and demanded that her maiden name was the first name.

  9. A squillion sounds good, really good. After all, with the kittens you have in the house right now they could charm all the birds from the trees!

  10. I think the appropriate term is: squeeeee-llion. Especially with the toe-hawk providing extra accuracy.

  14. Five squillion doesn't sound too bad, I mean, she does have a calculator, it must be correct!

  15. Charlene is as gorgeous as everyone says... but what's making me say "Huh!" is the calculator. I had that same wallet-style non-graphing scientific calculator in high school, and so did one or two of my friends. I'd forgotten that until just now. I believe there were both Casio and Radio Shack branded versions, too; mine said "Casio".

    Huh!

  16. Deodand is making me snicker!

Charlene is definitely ready for a career in high finance. She'd probably do better than most of those CEOs out there.

  18. Actually, my eye was caught by the calculator, too! I had one just like what you're describing, and I even think I got it from Radio Shack! That was my number one calculator until I was obliged to go graphing calc in hs. I wonder where the old girl is right now...

Ahhh.. reflections of (former) math nerd.

  20. A squee-llion is the truth, given all the cute kitties past and present. We could probably do it, too! *grins*

The best sort of economic recovery insentive: cute kitty cats! :)
