Well, Well, Well,,, Who Do We Have Here??

It's Orson Davenport!!

Just this week I got a nice little update from Orson's mom. I know you all are always asking about him, so I thought you would be excited to hear a little bit about what the boy's up to. Here's what mama Kendra had to say:

As Orson is playing an endless game of fetch with me (yes - he literally is fetching his pipe cleaner toy and bringing it back to me) I thought you might like to hear from us again. Needless to say, Orson is doing great and he's just a perfect cat. He gets along so well with his cat brother "Mr. Bond" and his dog brother "Cooper." He knows his name, is quite social and comes to greet us every time we're gone and return home.

Thanks to Kendra for the update It's so good to see the boy again.

If you've all forgotten how adorable Orson was as a tiny tot... here's a little reminder.

  1. From an adorable itty bitty to quite the handsome (and intelligent) big boy. How wonderful to see him again and hear how well he's doing and how he's wrapped his paw around his new mom's finger!

  7. Thanks for the Orson update. He is definitely one of my all time favorite members in the esteemed Itty Bitty Kitty Committee and I have been eagerly awaiting this update. Please post more photos whenever they are available! I wish I had adopted this boy. I will never forget the posting in which he gives you the feline equivalent of the bird. I still visit that post occasionally whenever I need a laugh!

  8. Well, even though I wasn't following at the time Orson was around it is still nice to see updates - heck, my blog started to keep the nurses at our vet updated as Virgil grew. I always like to hear that kittens have grown up into cats that are thriving.

I have been consumed with thought about Orson since he went to live with Kendra and have wished and hoped for a photo and THERE HE IS!
He is just as gorgeous an adult kitty as I knew he would be.

  11. Aw, he is looking very handsome! It's no coincidence that all the kittens graduating from the IBKC are extremely social, loving, and well-adjusted.

  15. Well I think Orson is even cuter now. I love it when cats recognize their names. Two of the three living here do (the third was abandoned when he was 4 so we don't know his original name). Little Orson seems to have grown into his wonderful home. Thank you for the update on the little guy!

  29. What a handsom fella!!! I used to have a ginger boyfriend who played fetch, with the wadded up & leftover slick coupon circulars. We spent many Sunday mornings playing fetch until he was pooped and my shoulder hurt from throwing.
