He Looks Innocent,, But(t)...

I'm_innocent_ i_ swear
I was hanging out with the kittens on the bed this morning. I was lying on my side and talking to Sue on the phone. They had just eaten their breakfast, so everyone was wound up. Nelson and Harlan were wrestling and romping together. Tressa was after my feet and the fringe on the blanket. Neville? Where's Neville?

Then, CHOMP. Neville bit me in the booty. He mostly got a mouthful of pyjama pants, but he did manage to sink his tiny teeth into me.

I think it was an accident.

  2. Sounds as if a certain someone isn't prepared to be ignored.

  7. Oh my gosh, that made me laugh! That had to be quite a surprise - I know that has happened to me (although usually the arm or leg) and it is quite a surprise! I am sure that if anything it was just a love bite.

  8. I'll tell him what I tell my kitties when they've been bad:

What?! Lost your mittens? You naughty kittens! Then you shall have NO PIE.

Not really. If they wanted pie, I'd probably still give it to them (catfood pie).

  9. Haha, how naughty! Did it hurt?

  10. Elvis has done that. He's 7 months old now. It's all down hill from here. Good luck with that.

  11. He told me that he was just letting you know he was there so you wouldn't accidently roll over on him. Don't ask how he, in WA, could tell this to me, in VA.

  13. ya know...I had a feeling he was a little stinker :)! In the photo of all the kits lined up..I swear he looks just like one of my son's friends..the way his eyes are a bit squinty. My son's friend looks innocent but he has a bit of a wild side when no one is looking :) LOL. Neville...you have a twin out there in the form of a 17 year old boy :). He gets good grades, if that's any consolation, LOL.

  18. See, you go out of your way to create a loving home for these little kitties, and it just comes back to bite you in the butt in the end.

  19. Oh that little troublemaker...I guess when you're one of four little siblings you gotta make sure you get your share of attention :) By the way, if he causes any more trouble, just let me know and I'll fly up and scoop him up :)

  20. Awww, he is just a teething baby, yeah that's it. Anyway who can stay angry at such a little cutie.

  22. Neville, dear...
That is NOT a very nice thing to do.

But(t) it probably got Laurie's attention focused on you...

  23. yep. he kinda looks like the
mean little red haired boy at school that would tape mirrors on his shoes....
    a kind of 'thinking-stinker'.
I too am "just positive" it was an accident. what a cute anecdote to share.

  24. If he had apposable thumbs, he'd have pinched your botty instead, but as it is..... My cheeky boy (1 year 2 months)bites my nose to wake me up.

  25. Haha too funny!

I don't know Laurie. The way that dapper little paw is draped over the edge of the basket...looks like a very smooth character to me.

I think you've just found the Romeo of the Lovejoys :-)

  26. hee hee - too cute - sorry.

These Kitties have reminded me of the red haired Weasley family from Harry Potter all boys-with the one adorable girl! And this does sound more like them than ever!

  27. My darling likes to bite noses and ears... I think it is a sign of affection... or you were taking up too much space.

  28. Oohh, just batt those baby blues, Neville, she'll forgive you in a hot minute :)

Lori-- how right you are! Neville is one of the twins, doncha just know it!

  29. Come clean now, Laurie! Admit to us all that you were wearing those jammies with the little mice all over them!

    ;o)

P.S. Marlene, how are your itty bitty fuzzballs doing?

  30. It's true...so true: looking at that face you can TELL it was "a axe-i-dent, Mom". Could that sweet face have any malice in it? Mischief? Probably. But malice? Nawwwww......

  31. such a sweet little rascal. i totally want all of these babies. i would never leave the room!!
    hugs,
    puglette

    ReplyDelete
  32. And all you could do was laugh at him....cause that face is just too cute.

    ReplyDelete
  33. There are no accidents with cats.

    Lucky for him he's adorable.

  34. Lori is right. I move to have their names changed to Fred, George, Ron and Ginny. And clearly it was either Fred or George that bit yer booty.
