Kitty Utopia

Shana brought this little clip on Cat House on the Kings to my attention today, and it just blew me away.

Lynea Lattanzio created Cat House in the late 1990's and since, it has become California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center for cats. Currently, they have about 700 cats (and a some doggies too) in their care.

When times are tough, donations drop, but the number of animals surrendered goes up. This makes it very difficult for shelters and sanctuaries to cover their costs. If you have a little to spare (or a lot!), please make a donation to her kitty utopia. (or to the animal shelter in your neighborhood)

  1. Let's donate in honor of the Ashby family! Or Laurie's foster home! Or both :)

  10. I had a stressful evening. I had to wait a long time at H&R Block to do my taxes. The guy doing them had typing skills that was a small step up from hunt and peck. He misspelled some things (but he corrected them) and all and all was slow. Then I get home and my TV doesn't work because the cable company messed up and it took half an hour to get through to them.

Then my kitty Sarge jumped up on me and started purring. Cats add so much to our lives. How could I not donate to a lady who helps so many of them? Thanks!
