Fifth and Final

DSC_0418
Here's the fifth and final babe from the batch. He's a dear, little bright-eyed, brown tabby boy.

He's got some of the finest belly spots you'll ever see and he'll gladly roll over on his back and share them with you.

  4. Oh! I want to kiss that pouty face!

Mel -- there are 5. The first one is the black/white one. (Then three black/gray boys and then this boy.) And I don't know if the first one is a he or she. Whichever -- adorable.

  5. 5 kitties, Mel. They started on March 3rd. It looks like they're all male.

This little boy is adorable. I want to rub his tummy and play with him!

  6. Hey, Cori! Maybe your guys need a little brother as their "house-warming" gift? You know, with there being an odd number, somebody won't be able to go out as a pair. Just sayin'.

  7. Tabby boys will always have a special place in my heart, this guy included!

Awesome news from the Cattery ~ big kitties Hugo (handsome gray and white boy who has been at the shelter a month), Vinnie (11-month-old big kitten), and Mr Whiskers (all fluff and stuff) found their new forever homes this weekend! Those aren't high numbers but they're all amazing cats! YAY!!!

Now ~ it's time for ittybitty names. Don't keep us in suspense any longer, Laurie. We're ready!

  8. almost forgot ...
Sweet Dottie was also adopted this weekend! She's a gorgeous calico girl from our local PetSmart (the Tacoma store is just one of our offsite adoption venues). Her new mama also ended up adopting another kitty when she went to the shelter to take care of Dottie's details. She saw a tortoishell kitten that she couldn't walk away from. Two happy endings :-)
(BIG thanks to Sue's sister for sending positive vibes Dottie's way).

  9. Holy resemblance, Batman! Does this tiny charmer remind anyone besides me of our precious Jerry Lee? I'm thinking particularly of the shot where his halo is visible.

    Let the name game begin!

  11. If anyone thinks all tabbies or all black kitties look alike, this batch is proof that they do NOT. This little love bunny has such a gentle face with a very tender expression. He just cries out to be adored.
No problem. And that goes for the other 4 as well. Maybe that first one is a girl?
    Show us the belly spots!

  13. I know what that look on this little itty bitty's face means. It means, "Get me a Charlene Butterbean lickover special and make it snappy!"

  14. They're all so cute, I would hate to have to choose one. I can't wait to find out their names and what Charlene thinks of them!

  16. Woo! A new itty bitty AND great news from Shana.

Chanter, this little charmer has huge, pink ears and looks as though he has the softest fur ever seen on a tabby. He's looking up with great big greyish-brown eyes and a tiny hint of a pout, as though he really, really, wants to be cuddled or played with.

  27. I fall in loooove with every kitty who is a member of the IBKC.

They are puty because they saw a vision of floofiness and they are desperately wishing for a Butterbean Beauty experience.

    O MY GOODNESS....

  28. What a little lovebug. So absolutely charming.

  29. THAT's it! Someone can have the same kind of mix I do: a sweet brown tabbypuss and a sterling, exquisite black kitty - both of mine are girlies, but oh they look so pretty together.......uhm - well, they're not so often *together*, but you know...in the same room. I think we're all stretching out with satisfied sighs, deliciously anticipating their names, their little secrets, their meeting with our cherished Butterbean....
