From Tots to Teens: Edward and Inez Davenport

Hey look! It's Edward and Inez!! They are hardly even kittens anymore!!! Thanks goes to their mom, Marianne, for sharing the pics. She reports her beautiful babies are doing well, growing fast and learning all sorts of tricks.

Geeze, they are just so lovely. Edward has the best stripes. Inez has such a wonderful, shiny coat.

It's so good to see them again.

  6. Aw, I love to see a couple sibling (or non-sibs) cats growing up together and maintaining their affection for each other.

  7. Wow! Unless I see the pictures that Forevers send, the IBKs remain itty bitty in my mind. While remembering them as babies is nice, it's really wonderful to realize that I've seen so many wonderful kittens, who might have had sad stories were it not for the IBKC, become fine, beautiful and beloved adult kitties. Makes my day!

  9. I'm with Anne Boleyn, does a heart good to see them grown up and having a happy life together. Now if I could just get my two kitties to cuddle up together like that! They too are brother and sister rescue babies (almost 2 now) but aren't real snuggly with each other. They do lick each other's heads occasionally. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pictures of these two beauties.

  11. Nothing less than stunning. Thank you to their mom for confirming us what we already knew - that the IBKC babies are blessed with a foster family that not only gives them the best start, but makes sure they are loved and well cared for all their lives.

  12. Inez looks like the first ever cat I looked after.

Pippin was that exact same colour pattern if I remember rightly and its going back a very very long time!

  17. OH MY! Inez has been one of my favorite little ones in all of the itty bitty kitty committee's history (shhh...don't tell the others!) And look how beautiful she is grown up!
What a lovely young lady she has become. Marianne, could you give her (and her brother too of course) a big smoochums from me?!?

  20. Marianne, a thousand thanks...no, a thousand TIMES a thousand thanks! Maybe the kittens leave Laurie with information on how to get their forever parents to take absolutely smashing pictures, because all the updates are sterling - but these? Oh my goodness but it's sweet seeing glossy, happy, loving cats emerge from wonky little fuzzballs. Nothing but Special Love and Cherishing can produce cats like that. Good work, Marianne -- oh, did I say THANK YOU?

  23. aaaaw, this makes me smile after a crappy day. I love kitties snuggled together and looking out the window side-by-side, so sweet and innocent looking.

Thank you for giving them both a great forever home and obviously showering them with lots of love.

  24. No blog of their own yet. Maybe when they learn a few more tricks! I posted a few more of my favorite pictures of them when they were younger on the
Itty Bitty Kitty Committee Alumni Association on flickr
Can you tell I'm a proud Mama?

  25. It's so nice to see the IBK graduates doing well. I think cats are cuter as adults because their personalities have developed and they don't run wild all over the place. (My current foster kitty gets into a lot of trouble by herself.) I think what you do is awesome! Thank you!

  26. A million thanks and purrs to Laurie for her IBKC and to Marianne for taking such good care of a treasured pair of kittens.

    Hurray for forever homes!

  27. Inez & Edward, you little angels! Thanks, Marianne, for sharing their photos and updates with us. They look absolutely fabulous.

Lots of activity in the Cattery today, mostly kitten adoptions but we did have a biggie find his new forever home ~ sweet Silly Bear showed us what he's got and now he's got a new family! I adore him. And 10-year-old Murphy's owner came to take him home. That was a touching and tearful reunion. Juno (5 months old) was also reunited with her owner. Yay!
