  5. Albert & Davy & Spiders! OH MY! Laurie, you brought cute to the world of creepy. I'll never look at a spider the same way again. Thanks!

  6. And I'll bet Laurie made the spider too! It's way fabulous!

  7. Wow! A superhero story starring the fabulous duo Albert and Davy!
    Fearless felines!

  8. And speaking of superheros, everyone should look at the story of Laurie's friend Liz and the pig rescue work she's doing. (It's on the top right side of the blog page). I just made a little donation and I feel better than I did before!
These are hard times, but they are hard times for the critters too.

  9. It's so cute how kittens can go from "ZOMG! IT eats me!" to "I kill it!" within minutes. My babies were terrified of paper bags at first (the crinkling?) and now they absolutely shred paper sacks. Little Al and Davy will kill the terrible spider once they are done tentatively pawing at it.

  13. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to check my favorite website in the world very much as of late.

And when I do.. I see these!!!

I am totally blissed out. I am so glad the babies are going in pairs and the giant spider is hilarious!

  14. I would never be brave enough to confront a spider that big!

  15. Chanter, Laurie has fabricated a giant black spider that looks like it's about five times the kittens' height and six times their length and has wonderfully long legs(either that or she really needs to clean the basement).

It's standing in the middle of the floor and Albert and Davy are cautiously exploring and batting at it. They're clearly getting closer and more impressed with their own bravery in some photos than in others, where they're still checking to make sure that it's not really a threat to kittenkind.

  16. I would like to call out Orsons Furrever Family to post some pics of him 'all grown up'
I would REALLY love to see his progress and I'm sure there are others that would love to see him as well.
I would appreciate it so much!
    Orson , Orson , Orson !!!!
(this new format is interesting Laurie!)

  19. Hey Laurie. Scooterpants mentioned that the new comment format is interesting. I in no way mean to be presumptuous, but I find it difficult to read as compared to the previous format. I just thought you might appreciate the input. Thanks for everything you do for the kitties and all your fans.

  20. How adorable! These little tykes are so brave.

Just last night Dashiell was lurking on the stairs, waiting to ambush someone. Spenser went on the attack, walking in that funny sideways crab-like stance with his back arched. I laughed out loud at their antics, as I did at these pictures.

  21. Oh the brave and fierce kittens!

Albert and Davy are mighty hunters. I am going to miss them when they go to their new home.

  22. *giggles* I was wondering if the kittens had found a real spider, and then someone went and described the reality. Nice one! :)

This's Chanter by the way, my screenreader and the dropdown box thingie aren't liking one another so well just at the moment.

  23. This 'spider' is at least 3 times the size of the Livermore who is "attacking"

I am in awe of the feerceness

  24. It's Godzilla spider, but it's no match for Albert and Davy!

    Cute.
