  1. I understand that it's a sign of trust and contentment when a cat exposes their tummy. Orson must really be happy to do that. Good job!

  6. I....want Orson. WANT!!
I wonder if he would consent to living in Canada with 2 big sisters. Well, 2 older sisters anyways, they're probably smaller than he will be.

  7. I laughed and laughed and laughed.

  19. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    Orson tummy is mmmffmmfmmfmrmfmfmmm
    ppfft pffth ahem... snorglable

The first shot of this Orson collection is pure kitten bliss and trust! There is a full tummy field of such fluffy white belly fur that I have to wonder - will Orson STILL make weight when he has endured the attentions of the vet techs - pre-itty-bitty-bit removal?

He has such a gloriously pink nose leather and lips that are almost startling in that gorgeous white fur on the lower half of his face.

His eyes are closed enough that they nearly disappear in the tabby-markings of the upper face - in UTTER kitten bliss!

Thanks Charlene for your help keeping Orson's white fur so bright!

  28. OH what they all said! And yes, for a kitty do that he has to be 100% secure, safe-feeling, happy and well-fed.....My Evangeline *occasionally* allows some tummy-stroking. Lilliane? Well - she sprawls on her back on the table mewing "rubmerubmerubmerubme"....no shrinking violet, she!

  29. I love that Orson boy! For many of us, it was love at first sight!

Wonderful news from the cattery ~ Miss Beatrix II has been adopted! I wasn't there to meet her new family but I hear they're marvelous. Hooray!

And YAYs for Orson (not this little guy, but our big guy at the shelter), and Madi (she was at PetSmart for a whole month)who also found their new forever homes! Woo Hoo!

  30. I believe that in certain internet cat circles, this pose is known as "The Full Monty". It looks like Orson is a born master of this.

  40. Looks like you have a Maine Coon mix on your hands. Classic Coon sleeping pose, long ear tufts, big feet and soft belly...makes me wish I didn't live in the North East because I want him!!!!!

  41. I never comment but Orson's belly demanded I do so. It has its own power. We should send him to the U.N. for peace talks.

I am so lucky I am in the Midwest; otherwise, I would have to break my rule about owning more than two furry faces. I am in love with Orson.

  42. Oh, I love soft kitty bellies! Smokey has the softest tummy--I can just sink my fingers into her silky fur, and she loves it. Orson looks just as soft.

  44. Another thought - Orson just realised the extreme levels of his cuteness and keeled over! ;)
